[Solution] Koyori's Investigation Report No. 001 | After publishing the case, I found myself on the receiving end
An investigation report on the incident that occurred on 8/5.
Investigation Report
It has been about a day since I published the case file.
Something amazing happened.
Detectives started sending me investigation reports one after another.
(If you don't know about the case yet, click here)⬇︎
When I was writing the article, I thought I was the one looking for the culprit.
So, even when I published it, I just thought,
“I wonder what kind of deductions I'll get.”
That was about it.
However, as I started reading the reports that arrived,
I immediately felt something was off.
Everyone...
Why are these so long...😭
It's not just a few words.
They read the article over and over,
checked the evidence,
recalled their own experiences,
and wrote down a single deduction.
How much time must that have taken?
The moment I thought that, I realized.
I am now receiving a lot of time from the detectives.
Even though I was supposed to have written a case I couldn't receive.
From the moment I published it, I was standing on the
“receiving end,” which I was supposed to be bad at.
And it wasn't just a few detectives.
I tried counting them.
And to my surprise, there were 20 of them!!
...Huh?
20 people?😳
My hands stopped involuntarily.
That so many people
shared their precious time with me😭
It's not something I can express with words like happy or sorry.
It was a strange, ticklish feeling that I can't quite describe.
And even though everyone read the same evidence, no two perspectives were the same.
So, for now, I will organize the evidence gathered so far.

Hypothesis ①: When you become the receiver, you lose your sense of security
🕵️♀️When you become the receiver, you are entrusted with the other person's time and kindness. So, perhaps you unconsciously feel secure by returning to being the giver.
That's trueー😭
As long as I'm giving, I feel secure, don't I?
I feel like this is probably quite accurate.
Hypothesis ②: A value system of prioritizing others over yourself
🕵️You unconsciously prioritize others over yourself. So, perhaps the very act of “receiving” has never been nurtured within you.
This was a shock😳
“Put yourself first.”
I have never thought about that even once.
I always put myself last.
Was that not the norm!?
Hypothesis ③: Being too considerate of others
🕵️Are you pushing them too hard? Will you regret it later? You think too much about the other person in advance. So, perhaps that is why resistance to receiving is born.
Hide Detective, Manabi Detective, & Soraneko Detective
Wow...😭
I thought this was normal for me.
But putting it into words again, I feel like it's biased.
Hypothesis ④: You just haven't had much experience relying on others
🕵️Rather than a deep-seated cause, it's simply a matter of experience. If you repeat the act of relying on others in small ways, you might be able to receive little by little.
This was a blind spot! 😂
I thought the culprit was someone much bigger, so I never expected the theory of 'lack of experience' to come up...
Hypothesis 5: Giving and receiving are not opposites
🕵️ Receiving is trusting what the other person has offered. And that act itself is also a gift to the other person.
This is the most important piece of evidence in the case🥹
I had always thought that 'giving' and 'receiving' were opposites.
But through this investigation, I'm starting to think they aren't opposites, and that both might be important actions.
Newly discovered facts
1. The culprit was not alone
🕵️♀️ Perhaps it's not one single factor, but rather several factors intertwined little by little.
After organizing the investigation reports that arrived,
it seems this case is not the work of a lone culprit.
Kindness. Values. Experience. How one receives things.
Each of these things intertwined little by little,
and it seems highly likely that they developed into this case.
2. Actually, there were things I was able to receive
🕵️♀️ 'Congratulations on 100 episodes,' 'I'm happy you introduced it,' 'It's made with such care'
Three months have already passed since reaching 100 episodes.
Even so, 'Congratulations.'
Even though I just introduced it,
'I was happy.'
Such words arrived one after another,
and I felt happy. 😊
......Wait?
Doesn't this mean I am able to receive? 😳
In other words, this case might be
a 'case where there are things I can receive and things I cannot.'
The mystery has deepened once again. 🤔
Current investigation status
The culprit has not yet been identified.
However, after making the case file public, the fact that over 20 detectives started moving toward solving the casebecame a major turning point for me.
I am now gradually beginning to see scenery that I couldn't see when I was thinking about it all by myself.
Also, what surprised me even more than the culprit was the comment section.
'Actually, I have the same case too.'
There were so many voices saying that.
I had always thought this case was mine alone.
But it seems that wasn't the case.
It has been revealed that this case was a'heart case'that is also happening in the hearts of many people.
Conclusion
The thing that surprised me the most this time was that 16 detectives I had only just met joined the investigation🥹
I am still reading through the investigation reports I received,
one by one.
Before rushing to identify the culprit,
I want to make sure I properly appreciate the time
that everyone has shared with me.
To all the detectives.
Thank you so much for this investigation.
Please give me a little more time until the case is solved.
