  1. First step is to download the NoMachine Debian amd64 package

  2. Next, install the same NoMachine package using the dpkg command on both systems ( client and server ). Change the version number where appropriate: 
    $ sudo dpkg -i nomachine_6.9.2_1_amd64.deb
  3. Open the Machine server

    Open the Machine server from the Activities menu.

  4. Click on the Server Status tab.

    Click on the Server Status tab. Take a note of the NoMachine server IP address.

  5. Move to the client system and open NoMachine client.

    Keep clicking Continue until you reach the Recent connections window.

    From here select the available remote desktop share or click the New button to follow the new connection wizard.
