For First-Time Visitors | Marugari-kun's Dam Tour Record Summary
《Introduction》
Thank you for visiting this note for the first time.
This note is a personal dam blog where I record the dams I have actually visited.
“Go, see, take photos, and leave behind what caught my interest”is the level of distance I maintain while continuing this.
《About this note》
Although I am a Dam Meister certified by the Japan Dam Association, rather than an expert,
this is basically just a visit record from a dam enthusiast.
Instead of difficult technical explanations, I write mainly about my vague impressions, what I saw on-site, and what caught my attention.
I also leave information about actual parking locations and viewing areas as far as I know, but please check for the latest information when you visit.
《How to read the articles》In each article,
《Dam Overview》 briefly summarizes the location, purpose, and type.
《Simple Specs》 organizes the dam height, crest length, river name, etc.
《On-site Notes》 describes the local situation when I actually went there.

《About Instagram》
Instagram is where I post photos taken during dam tours and civil engineering landscapes seen on-site.There are no detailed explanations, and I use it as an entrance to this note.
《In conclusion》This note is not a site intended to completely cover all dams.
It is a record of what I have actually visited and seen, left behind with my own interpretation.
There are dams that looked beautiful, and some that were hard to see due to vegetation.
I hope to leave these behind as records of my visits to those locations, including those aspects.
If there is an article that interests you, please take a look at other dam articles as well.
