Red bell pepper I bought it. It's fine that I bought it, but red bell pepper has such a strong presence.
If it were just a regular green bell pepper, it would be enough to say "It's a bell pepper", but just because it's red, it suddenly starts acting like "the star of the show." It's just a vegetable, but it's got a big attitude. For now, I'll slice it right down the middle and remove the seeds inside. This task is surprisingly time-consuming.

The inside of a bell pepper is more stubborn than I thought, and my fingers get covered in seeds. I'll dust the inside with flour.
I feel like I heard or read somewhere that doing this makes the meat filling less likely to peel off, but honestly, I don't remember clearly. Well, I did it with the feeling that it's better than not doing it at all.
I pack the chicken mince mixture tightly into the red vessels. This moment is strangely fun. It's like an extension of playing with clay, and there's a strange sense of satisfaction.
When you fry it in a pan, the bell pepper softens a little, and the surface of the meat mixture browns.
While it's cooking, the smell of meat and vegetables fills the house, and just from that, I can feel like "I'm working properly from the morning." In reality, I was doing it while still half-asleep.
I also gently added three pieces of rolled omelet. There's no particular reason. If I had to say, it's because I feel like the bento looks lonely without a rolled omelet. It's not logic, just a feeling.
I put kelp on the rice. This is fine. The colors are brown, red, and orange, and rather than nutritional balance, I finished it with a "it's filled with something" feeling.
Before closing the lid, for a moment, I looked at the red bell peppers lined up neatly, and I was a little satisfied. It has a good look that doesn't reveal that the inside is meat.
My husband finished it all again today. No comments.
