Miyu Amanu Memorial Museum [Site Map]
I want to become an author worthy of having a memorial museum built after I die.
…That’s a bit too ambitious and embarrassing. Who would even go?
Actually, since I am my own biggest fan, I want to build a memorial museum while I'm still alive and just grin at it.
To fulfill that dream on the web, I’ve created a memorial museum—in other words, a site map—for my own self-satisfaction.
Entrance🚪
Welcome to the Miyu Amanu Memorial Museum.

The Life of Amanu
This is the life of Amanu (though I am still alive).
Miyu Amanu
Born on August 17, 1989, in Ibaraki Prefecture as the eldest daughter of the ○ family. Spent my childhood in Makuhari and Inzai, Chiba Prefecture. I was slower at running than others, so my life was effectively over from the start. An indoor type, I spent my days drawing illustrations of girls and grinning while thinking about their relationships.
In my second year of junior high, I transferred to Osaka due to my father's job. After attending high school in Kansai, I lived in Toyonaka City, Osaka, until my gap year. I returned to Chiba when I entered Keio University. I struggled with feeling like an outsider in both Kansai and Kanto due to my half-baked Kansai dialect. At university, I was in the Department of French Literature and belonged to the Rakugo Research Society.
After graduation, I worked at three companies: administrative work in the rental housing industry, a housing purchase consultation advisor, and administrative work at a staffing agency. During my second job, I was transferred from Chiba to Fukuoka. It was supposed to be a temporary transfer, but I unexpectedly got married in Fukuoka and have lived there ever since.
Gave birth in April 2022. I resigned from my job upon giving birth, and now I spend my days writing novels and essays on note while taking on freelance writing and translation work.
