Summary of Common Wedding Reception Experiences from 30 Years Ago Part 5 | Wedding Scenes You No Longer See Today
Wedding receptions 30 years ago were a little different from those of today.
Having written this series,
I am reminded once again that things that were taken for granted back then
have completely disappeared today.
Along with the changing times,
the "norms" of weddings have also changed significantly.
In this installment,
I have focused on scenes related to entertainment, the atmosphere of the venue, and photography.
[Contents of this installment]
46. It was standard for entertainment skits to involve "putting your body on the line for real"
47. Karaoke for entertainment was "something the whole venue would get excited about"
48. The "guess the bride" quiz was "entertainment that got the whole venue excited"
49. It was standard for guests not to have cameras
50. "Part-time workers posing as guests" actually existed
51. Tables were set with "bottled beer and bottle openers" from the start
52. It was an era where there was a sense of "taking home the atmosphere" somewhere
53. "Instant cameras" were placed on every table
54. Professional photographers were not "people who kept shooting inside the venue"
55. Video cameras were "large pieces of equipment carried on the shoulder"
