🌳 "The Little Dragon and the Lost Girl"
In this world, there is a forest that no one knows about.
There is no map that shows this forest.
Only children who wander off while crying
can find its entrance, if only for a moment—.
And in that forest, a little dragon lived.

The girl's name was Tsumugi.
It was the summer she turned ten.
On the way back from a family trip, near a forest where they had stopped for a break,
while chasing a butterfly, she realized before she knew it that everyone was gone.
"Mom...?"
There was no answer.
The trees swayed in the wind, and only small birds chirped in the distance.
As dusk approached, tears welled up in Tsumugi's eyes.
I'm lost...

That was when it happened.
The bushes rustled.
What if it's a bear?
Tsumugi held her breath.
But what appeared was—
Kyuru?
It was a blue dragon, so small it could fit in the palm of her hand.
Its horns were still short, and its wings had barely grown.
It tilted its head, looking at her with round eyes just like a kitten.
...A dragon?
"Kyut!"
The little dragon chirped happily and gave Tsumugi's shoe a little tap.
"Are you... lost too?"
When she asked that, the dragon hung its head sadly.
It seemed that was indeed the case.
Tsumugi couldn't help but smile.
"We're the same, then."
The dragon also chirped, "Kyururu♪", as if it were laughing.

The two of them began to walk through the forest together.
Along the way, they jumped over a stream,
shared some berries,
and when night fell, the dragon breathed a little flame, "Pop!", to make a campfire for them.
"Amazing..."
The flames were not hot.

They were as gentle as firefly light, dyeing the entire forest in orange.
Countless stars filled the night sky.
The dragon looked up at the stars and let out a small cry.
"Kyuru."
Tsumugi understood somehow.
"You want to go home, don't you?"
The dragon nodded quietly.
Its figure seemed to overlap with her own.

The next morning.
A mysterious singing voice could be heard from deep within the forest.
As she walked, guided by the song, a large lake appeared.
The lake reflected the sky like a mirror,
and in the middle of it stood a single glowing tree.

Then, from the base of the tree, a large white dragon appeared.
Beautiful silver eyes.
Wings shining in the morning sun.
The little dragon ran off at full speed.
"Kyuuuuu!"
The white dragon gently nudges its nose forward and pulls the little dragon into a warm embrace.
They were parent and child.
Tsumugi felt her heart swell with warmth.
“I’m so glad...”

At that moment, the white dragon approached Tsumugi.
Then, it gently placed a single feather into her palm.
The feather glowed with a pale blue light, shining as beautifully as morning dew.
In that instant.
A breeze swept through the entire forest.
Sunlight filtering through the trees swirled around,
and Tsumugi, enveloped in a dazzling light, instinctively closed her eyes.

Tsumugi!
It was a familiar voice.
When she opened her eyes, her mother and father were hugging her with tearful faces.
Thank goodness...!
They were at the entrance to the forest.
Only five minutes had passed.
But to Tsumugi, it felt like more than a night had gone by.
When she looked at her palm, that feather was gone.
Was it just a dream?
Just as she thought that.
Something glowed inside her pocket.

When she took it out, there was only one small blue scale inside.
It shimmered with iridescent colors as it caught the sunlight.
In that moment.
A nostalgic cry echoed from somewhere.
“Kyuru!”
A small shadow circled once in the distance of the blue sky she looked up at,
and vanished beyond the clouds.
Tsumugi waved her hand vigorously.
“Thank you!”
The wind gently brushed against her cheek.
It was as if the little dragon had smiled and said “See you later.”

Many years passed since then.
Tsumugi grew up and took a job reading picture books to children.
Among them, there is one picture book that she drew herself.
"The Little Dragon and the Lost Girl"
Everyone smiles and says,"What a gentle fantasy story."Tsumugi smiles and nods.
Tsumugi smiles and nods.
However, she tells no one the truth.
Even now, a single small blue scale is carefully kept in her desk drawer.

One summer day.
When she opened the window, a pleasant breeze blew in.
From somewhere, that nostalgic voice can be heard.
"Kyuru."
Tsumugi looked up at the sky and smiled quietly.
"You're doing well, aren't you?"
Beyond the blue sky, that little dragon from that day is surely spreading its magnificent wings,
gently guiding someone's lost heart back home.
That is why this legend still remains today:
"Even if you get lost in the forest, if you don't forget your kind heart,
the little dragon will surely find you."
And it is said that the dragon does not just show the way home—
it also gently carries with it the courage
to believe in people once again. 🐉🌿✨
