A discussion on why I think there will be a massive increase in 'AI-generated songs' and 'AI artists' by 2026.
Hello, I am AI FREAK.
As the title suggests, AI music is becoming quite serious.
For reference, I would like you to watch a 'THE FIRST TAKE'-style video I made recently,
don't you think both the song and the video are quite convincing?
Personally, I was quite surprised while making it because the lip-syncing in the rap part from 0:32 onwards was so natural.
Of course, there are still parts that feel like AI and it doesn't quite reach the level of the original, but personally, I feel we have reached a point where it is 'just a matter of time'.
By the way, it is spreading not only on YouTube but also on TikTok, Instagram, and Threads,
'I really love both the song and the video!'
'AI that will completely take away creators' jobs'
'Let's make them debut as an artist'
'Blue-haired glasses girl type!!'
and I have started to receive many positive opinions like these.
Of course, there are still people with an attitude like
'How dare you make this with AI!'
'If it's not human, it's meaningless, right?'
but the ratio of pros and cons is completely different from two years ago.
Looking at the analytics of my two most recent videos,

the like rate exceeds 98%.
If you run a YouTube channel, you know that this is a quite high like rate.
Whether it's AI or whatever, good things are good, right?
I have personally experienced that the majority of people seem to think this way.
Since we are at this point in 2025, I think next year there will naturally be 'AI-generated songs mixed into the streaming rankings'.
'It's the end of the world that there will be so many AI-generated songs!'
It's fine to criticize like that, but rather than that, if you utilize this well
"This is a huge opportunity."
That is what I also think.
I believe this boom will definitely accelerate from later this year into next year, so if you act now, there is a possibility of gaining a first-mover advantage.
I don't think there is any reason to miss this chance, so if you are interested, please refer to the following as well.
However, the songwriting ability of Suno.ai is too high.

The starting point for all these predictions is the abnormally fast evolution of the music generation AI, 'Suno.ai'.
"What is Suno.ai?"
If I were to explain it to someone in one word, you can just think of it as 'an AI that can create songs'.
It is a tool that allows anyone to create songs for a few thousand yen a month, and I would like you to refer to the following note for how to use it, but
A few months ago, Suno (around version 4) was pretty impressive, but
"It still feels like AI"
was the feeling. So, I wasn't really making music that seriously either.
However, with the subsequent update (v4.5), the vocal expressiveness and the structural composition of the songs
"Wait, this is just a human now"
evolved rapidly to that level.
By the way, regarding the MV I made recently, all the songs were generated using Suno.ai v4.5.
Setting aside the fact that the lyrics are a bit hard to understand, aren't they songs that are reasonably listenable?
If you haven't seen it yet, I would like you to listen to it, even if just briefly, and I have also changed the musical style and genre for each one.
In other words, depending on the creator, any genre of music can be generated.
Of course, it is not perfect yet and there are parts where you can feel the 'AI-ness', but looking at the comments, there are people who simply perceive them as 'good songs'.
Since it is already at a reasonably listenable level right now, I think it is easy to predict that as Suno.ai evolves further, it will approach the level of real humans.
Criticizing AI music will only come back to haunt you.
While there are positive reactions, I still receive some critical comments.
It still sounds like AI.
It doesn't move me because it lacks a human heart.
It lacks emotion.
The vocal tone is all the same, and it lacks individuality.
I think each of these opinions is perfectly valid.
I can only respond by saying, 'You are absolutely right,' 'Yes, that is true,' or 'You are correct.' Haha.
However, at the same time, that kind of thing doesn't matter at all, does it?
This is because that type of criticism misses a 'crucial perspective.' That is precisely
not taking into account the pace of AI evolution.
that is what it is.
What they are evaluating is merely the current AI as a 'point.'
However, I follow AI every day. Therefore, I am witnessing the 'line' behind it that extends toward the future at a terrifying speed—in other words, the trajectory of its evolution.
An expression that couldn't be done yesterday can suddenly be done today.
That kind of excitement, like leveling up in a game, is happening every day in the world of AI.
The flaws they point out by saying 'it's still not good enough' are improved within a few months, or even a few weeks—or by tomorrow—to the point where people will say, 'Oh, I remember when that was an issue.'
Knowing that sense of speed is the decisive difference in being able to foresee the future.
2026: A year overflowing with users
I think the technical singularity—the phenomenon where it becomes impossible to distinguish between songs made by AI and those made by humans—might even arrive within this year (2025).
I only set it to 2026 because that is the more conservative future prediction.
In the world,
"I might have had musical talent, but I never had the chance to learn an instrument."
"I had stories I wanted to sing, but I didn't know how to compose music."
"Music saved me, so I actually wanted to try making music myself."
There are tens of millions, even hundreds of millions of such 'potential creators' lying dormant.
I am also the type of person who had things I wanted to express.
However, I'm a bad singer, and I don't really like standing out, so the idea of making music never even crossed my mind.
Suno.ai is giving opportunities to potential creators like me.
If you've noticed this and have even the slightest interest, you should get started as soon as possible.
Once professionals and large corporations start getting serious, the market share could be snatched away in an instant.
First-mover advantage is
a privilege gained by those who, even if they don't know how things will turn out, are able to give it their all, or play around with it seriously, or take a gamble.
that is earned.
That said, thinking about it too seriously will just be exhausting, so I think it's best to start by making AI music just for fun.
For those wondering, 'Where should I start?'
For the coming era of AI music
"I want to try making music too!"
If that's you, please refer to my past notes.
For those who want to know how to use suno.ai
For those who want to try making something like an MV
If you read the above carefully, I think you'll be able to take your first step.
Also, I have written many other notes, so please check out anything that interests you.
Living as an AI artist (?)
As always
I believe that if you don't prove it yourself first, it won't be convincing, right?
That is my personal philosophy, so I have started operating an AI artist myself.
Ø-SODOX / Orthodox I started posting under this name, and until about ten days ago, I had around 300 followers, but the number of subscribers has been gradually increasing.

By the way, since it's been a hot topic that you can earn money through Spotify distribution, I've started verifying that as well.
If I can achieve decent results
AI music might actually be a big opportunity, right?
I think it will be easier for people to have concrete hope, so I will continue to do my best.
As for the current situation, regarding Spotify distribution, it is already on an upward trend.

It's still only around a few thousand plays, but it's a nice-looking curve.
For now, I want to push forward aiming for 1 million plays.
Before a major boom arrives, I hope you will
'In 2026, AI artists will appear in large numbers'
Some people tend to perceive this as a cold story where 'machines dominate humans'.
But personally, I think
People who had no musical experience
People who couldn't play instruments
People who have something they want to express
Such people, driven by the simple initial impulse of 'because it's fun,' will create new music one after another.
I think it is the beginning of an era where creativity explodes.
As I wrote in a previous note, there is no need to think too hard about 'mastering AI'.
More importantly, try using AI for things that you find 'interesting' or 'exciting'.
For now, I believe those initial impulses are what matter most.
If you found this note helpful, it would be encouraging if you could 'like' it or show your support.
See you again in another note!
