Full-length Novel "The Night-Dimension Whale Drinks the Goldfish Bowl"

"Why don't you come to the fourth dimension? If you do, you can be one with your dead Ruri again," says the Night-Dimension Whale.
It was a year ago that Haru began to see the Night-Dimension Whale. Haru, who has same-sex parents, thought of the Night-Dimension Whale to escape the curious gazes of others. This is not a classroom. It is inside the picture book "The Night-Dimension Whale" drawn by his late mother, Ruri. After repeating such delusions several times, he opened his eyes one day to find the Night-Dimension Whale swimming through the classroom.
At his new school, Haru witnesses a telescope goldfish's body slip out to become a four-dimensional telescope goldfish. He spends his time in the classroom with the goldfish bowl and gradually opens up to Shin, the student in charge of the goldfish, but because of past trauma, he refuses to make friends. Meanwhile, his mother, Nanami, lets Tanabe, who says he "wants to be Haru's father," move into their home. Rebelling against Nanami's attempt to marry a man, Haru's heart is drawn toward the fourth dimension.
