[Self-Introduction] Near-50 Single Mother with Depression Living with a College Student Child | My First Note
🌸 Nice to meet you, I'm Hana.
I am a near-50 single mother with depression and irritable bowel syndrome.I live with my college-aged son. My parents have already
passed away, and
I have no one to rely on.
As the wife of a husband who was transferred all over the country, I couldn't build a career...
My days were filled only with housework and child-rearing in unfamiliar lands.
Infidelity, emotional abuse, debt... there were many things I couldn't talk about, and I made a fresh start after divorce mediation
しました。
Currently, I work from home while continuing to create content on platforms like Note and YouTube.
It has been 6 years since my divorce.
Honestly, I still have financial anxieties.
Even so,
I want to make the future even a little better
I hold onto that thought as I build my days one by one.🌸

💬 Who I am now
Since the divorce, I have had no one to rely on, and I have been working desperately while facing my depression.
I have also tried many side jobs to make ends meet.
Flea market apps, crowdsourcing, importing from China, blogging, YouTube, Note....
I have also experienced many failures.😂
Sometimes things don't lead to the results I hope for.
Even so, the reason I continue to take on challenges is,
I want to be useful to people who are struggling in the same way
because I have that feeling. That is why I want to share with single mothers who are having a hard time now or those who are hesitant about divorce for financial reasons,
the reality of saving on education costs and working from home
I want to convey this.
And above all... I live with depression. Precisely because there are many painful days,
I want to write words that can offer comfort to the heart.
That is because I have the experience of being
encouraged and saved from loneliness by the kind words of a strangeron X (formerly Twitter) in my past.🌱

🍀 What I want to convey
I am not a special person.
I have depression, no family to rely on, and after my divorce, I faced
difficult days both financially and mentally.
Even so,
🌱 I didn't want to give up on my child's higher education
🌱 I wanted to increase my income even a little
🌱 I wanted to rebuild my own life
With those thoughts, I have moved forward one step at a time.
If you are currently,
"hesitating about divorce"
