#Introducing Contest Entries for the Exciting Moments Contest ②
Until Wednesday, February 25th, we are holding a submission contest on the JR Kyushu official web magazine WAQ² JouRnal and note with the theme of "#ExcitingMoments"!
Following our previous post, we would like to introduce six articles from those submitted by everyone that left a lasting impression on the WAQ² JouRnal team. If you are thinking about writing one during this long weekend, please use these as a reference!

① A dining table that is enough just as it is (Engawa-san)
"What do you do for meals on days when your husband is away?" This is a piece that found a little bit of excitement on such a day. I felt a deep love in the gentle gaze directed at the children.
② Yes comes suddenly - The moment "No" becomes "Yes" | Parenting Diary | Parenting Essay (EHI Mama-san)
The "excitement" felt in parenting is a theme that many people have submitted. This is a piece by a mom who feels both happy and a little lonely as her child gradually becomes able to do more things. Those moments of growth are truly precious, aren't they?
③ [Essay] The reason why I, who assert that "mountains are things to be viewed while grinning at the foot," was moved in Aso (Monkey Pants-san)
The power of Mt. Aso opened a new door to the rich fantasy world of someone who is "on the side of viewing mountains." Because the figure itself could not be seen directly, it actually expanded the reader's imagination and made me excited. It makes me want to go there in person!
④ A walk to find the food of life in the Yanagase neighborhood (Yamano Ao-san)
A bit retro, and human life is definitely there. I couldn't help but stop at the beautiful photos that seem to convey even that "atmosphere of the town." The realization that there are "hints to make your own daily life rich and fun" precisely because it is the town where you live is wonderful.
⑤ [Comic Essay] "Cat Reporter Days" The Exciting Moment Volume (Thunder-san)
A comic essay with the unique excited (nervous?) expressions of a cat reporter. For this contest, you can participate regardless of the format of expression, such as manga, illustrations, or novels, as well as essays.
⑥ The true identity of the "divine song" that overturns the concept of a company anthem -- The reason why JR Kyushu's "Roman Railway" has been running through the hearts of listeners for over 30 years (Chibi Tanuki-san)
An article that delved deep into JR Kyushu's company anthem, "Roman Railway." It made me emotional to have it written that "it is a company anthem for JR Kyushu, and at the same time, a theme song for each of our journeys." Please watch the video along with the article!
