🌈 For your Health !
Good evening, everyone! 💓
This time, I tried turning 1 kg of boiled soybeans into a variety of delicious Indonesian dishes!
With the help of ChatGPT, I found ways to cook them using only ingredients I already had at home! 🤩🌟

① Gulai
🇮🇩 Indonesian-Style Curry 🍛
A rich and flavorful coconut milk-based curry often made with beef, chicken, fish, eggs, or vegetables.
Seasoned with spices like turmeric, coriander, and galangal, gulai has a deep aroma and complex taste.
It’s a dish influenced by Malay cuisine.
Spice level: 3/5
My version: Boiled soybeans + canned corned beef

② Kari
🇮🇩 Another Type of Indonesian Curry 🍛
This curry also uses coconut milk but is lighter than gulai and influenced by Indian flavors.
Typically cooked with potatoes, chicken, or legumes—it's a comforting, everyday dish.
Spice level: 2/5
My version: Boiled soybeans + canned salmon

③ Gado-Gado
🇮🇩 Indonesian Warm Salad 🥗
A hearty and nutritious salad with boiled vegetables, tofu, tempeh, and hard-boiled eggs,
served with a sweet and slightly spicy peanut sauce.
Healthy, filling, and full of flavor!

④ Acar
🇮🇩 Indonesian Pickles 🥣
A sweet-and-sour pickle made from cucumber, carrots, chili, and other veggies.
Soaked in a mix of vinegar, sugar, salt, and spices—it’s refreshing and pairs perfectly with fried dishes or fried rice!

🟢 Paratha
Thin Indian-style flatbread, even thinner than chapati.
I got it as a substitute for naan and was surprised by how good it was!
The texture is crispy and flaky, almost like puff pastry. So delicious! 😍💓🫶

"Secret tip! The sweet version topped with cream cheese and marmalade was also incredibly delicious."
🟠 Shrimp Crackers
No deep-frying needed!
Just place 3 crackers on a plate (not touching each other), microwave for 1 minute uncovered, and they’re done!

🔵 Guava Juice
I also recommend mango juice and coconut-almond juice—they’re super tasty too! 🥰

🌟 Seasonings I Used 🌟
Peanut butter
Honey mustard (originally meant to use whole grain mustard)
Garlic & ginger
Fish sauce (nam pla)
Chili salt
Dried garlic
Fried shallots
...and more!

🎊 All Done! 🎊

FYI:
Easy-to-find Indonesian cooking basics in Japan:
Garlic & ginger
Onion
Sweet soy sauce (or substitute with soy sauce + sugar + mirin)
Sambal (or use doubanjiang + vinegar + sugar)
Dried spices: turmeric, coriander, cumin
Sugar, soy sauce, mirin
🌈 On the same day, I also made Bangladeshi cuisine... (haha) I’d be happy if you take a look 🤭❣️
