Japanese people tend to think they should start using English in actual work only after they have become good at it. This is a mistake.
You may think that you should only do business in English after mastering good English skills. This is a bad idea.

As long as you have a minimum level of English proficiency, it is possible to actually work in English.
If you have a minimum amount of English skill, you should do business in English, anyway.

If you have opportunities to use English at your current workplace, such as in conversations, meetings, or emails, please take the initiative to do so.
When you have an opportunity to use English such as talking in English, meeting in English, mailing in English, do not pass it up.

You can also actively appeal to your boss and colleagues that you want to work in English. Virtual business English experiences, such as those online or at schools, will also be helpful.
You can tell your boss and colleagues yourself that you want to work in English. Doing business virtually online or in school would be also helpful.
