What are the "3 Pillars" needed for a note that gets read? [Introduced with real-life examples]
That was about a month and a half ago.
One day, I received a message.
The person who sent the message is a student currently taking my writing support course.
I thought I would reach out to you, Kanasawa-san, to ask for your advice on managing my note.💦
Oh my goodness!
When I received this message, I was very surprised.
This is because, although he and I were in the same community and knew each other, we were not that close.
Why would he ask me for advice like this?
Wondering about this, I decided to ask him directly during our first meeting.
"Why did you reach out to me?"
From that interaction, I realized there are "3 pillars" necessary for writing a note that gets read, so I would like to talk about that today.
A brief introduction to my note
In the past, I worked as an instructor at an entrepreneurship school, providing support for SNS customer acquisition centered on writing.
Leveraging that experience, I am currently working on publishing on note.

Over 70 paid notes sold
I am posting daily tips on the little tricks needed to write a "note that gets read."
What are the 3 pillars needed for a "note that gets read" that became apparent from the reason he reached out to me?
His answer to the question, "Why did you reach out to me?" is as follows.
"I thought you were a 'person who is easy to talk to'. After that, when I read your note, I thought, '
this is interesting'."
Comparing Kanazawa-san's achievements with my own note, I thought,
“Oh, that's amazing!”
I see!
I clap my hands together.
Can you see that his words contain the three essential elements for a "note that gets read"?
The 3 pillars needed for a note that gets read
The three pillars needed for a note that gets read are as follows.
In my writing support, I delve deeper into these points, but today I will just introduce the key takeaways.
Empathy → Interesting note
Sense of familiarity → Approachable personality
Sense of trust → Oh, that's amazing!
By showcasing these three in a balanced way within your articles, you can grow a note that gains more "likes" and followers.
I will explain them one by one with examples.
"Empathy" moves the reader's emotions
By choosing words that make the reader want to nod vigorously, thinking "I get it!", your note will resonate with their heart and gain more "likes".
In this article, I received comments saying "I get it!".
"Sense of familiarity" shortens the distance with the reader
This might be similar to "empathy".
By honestly putting into words everyday, relatable events or feelings that anyone might experience, you create a note that makes readers think, "This person is just like me!", significantly closing the psychological distance and increasing comments.
"Sense of trust" makes them think, "If it's this person, then..."
Just making them feel "empathy" and a "sense of familiarity" is no different from a friend's note. To make people think, "I want to read more of this person's notes!", you need to earn their "trust".
For that, it is important to disclose the "achievements" you have built up so far. I am also careful about this so that it doesn't come across as bragging.
I also write in detail about the importance of disclosing achievements in this article.
The article below has the most "likes" on my note, and I analyze that it is popular because it contains all three elements: "empathy," "familiarity," and "trust."
Only when the "3 pillars" are in place can you create a "note that gets read"!
A note that gets read requires three pillars: "empathy," "familiarity," and "trust."
Having only "trust" is boring, and
having only "empathy" and "familiarity" just makes it a diary for friends.
To gather the reader's empathy and make them think, "I want to read this person's note every day," it is important to properly "showcase" the three pillars mentioned above.
So, how do you incorporate these three into your note?
Having read this far, some of you might be thinking, "I see, I understand that the three pillars are important, but how should I write them?"
I believe that you can only see it by "writing."
It is difficult to capture people's hearts with superficial techniques alone.
There is definitely a view that can only be seen after you have continued to write diligently.
In my writing support, I provide hands-on support where we go through trial and error together while sharing plenty of tips for writing a "note that increases fans and gets read."
"I have the desire to write, but I can't write well."
"I want to be able to have someone read my work."
Together with people who hold such thoughts, I polish their words and nurture their ability to deliver them.
There are things that were difficult to do alone that you can do when you are with someone else.
I am offering 30-minute individual consultation support.
