I might have messed up the Prompt Builder | AI Image Prompts | Testers Wanted | #404

Late at night, I was tinkering with the Prompt Builder.
You know, that tool where you can build AI image prompts just by picking cards.
I just had a lighthearted thought like, 'Let me fix this up a little bit.'
And then.
Before I knew it, there were four versions.
……I might have messed up.
First of all, what even is the Prompt Builder?
I'm sure there are people who don't know, so I'll explain it just once.
Subject, clothing, background, lighting, camera, art style.
It's a tool where you just drop cards in,
and a ready-to-use English prompt is completed. It's that kind of tool.
No English knowledge required.
No memorizing spells required.
No need to type from scratch every time.
It supports three: Midjourney / GPT-Image / Nano Banana.
The completed text can be copied with one tap, pasted, and generated.

Up to this point, it's just a normal tool.
The problem started from here.
Before I knew it, there were four versions
I'll explain them in order.
Original — PC only. The starting point where the material data was hardcoded into the main body.
V2.0 — Made it usable just by opening the URL on a smartphone. I made it a two-layer structure where you can swap decks (card collections). This is the generation that became the foundation.
V3.0 — Added a Deck Workshop. You can now create and edit your own decks. You can turn your own word lists or notes into cards just by pasting them.
V3.1 — Made it possible to save and restore in-progress prompts as JSON. Since you can save the entire completed text, you can edit it later.

……I realized it while writing this out, but I've really gone and done it, haven't I.
It was supposed to be a tool where you just "use" the cards.
Before I knew it,
it started saying things like "make your own deck, distribute it as a file, and trade it."
Like Pokémon cards,
I want to create a culture where prompts become cards and circulate, it says.
......Are you sane?
I was just tinkering with it on a whim, so why did it turn out like this?
To put it simply, I think it's like the relationship between a PlayStation and its software.
V1 was like a PlayStation console with the software forcibly hard-coded into it.
It was like, "It turns on. Amazing. But the things you can play are limited."
V2 was like having basic software included from the start.
You can play as soon as you boot it up. It finally became a "tool" here.
V3 is like moving from the side that plays the software to the side that makes it yourself.
Suddenly, it started loading development kits. Who told you to go that far?
V3.1 is like being able to save your progress on a work-in-progress.
You can just continue playing from where you left off. No, it's not a game anymore, it's becoming a production environment.
......Am I trying to build a PlayStation for prompts?
So, what is the "mess up"?
The fact that the features increased is a good thing. Probably.
The problem is, I can't verify all the versions by myself is the point.
Smartphone models, browsers, deck loading, saving and restoring.
There are too many combinations,
and with only my own device, I can only say "it works in my environment."
That is the worst thing you can say.
So, I want to recruit a few testers.
I'm asking for your honesty.
I'll release V2.0 for 100 yen.
In exchange, could you write an article introducing your impressions of using it?
Number of people: 5
Conditions: People who will actually try it out and write an introductory article on platforms like note
What I will provide: Pon-Dashi Builder+ V2.0 (100 yen, which is cheaper than usual)
I think it's a steal.
I'm making it a steal because it helps me out too.
It's a win-win situation.

I'm still struggling with the price and how to release it
I'll be honest here and write about the parts I haven't fully decided on yet.
The PC version (download version) will be released as a one-time purchase
It's a single HTML file that stays with you once you buy it.
No server or installation required.
The problem is the web version.
The one you can use just by opening a URL can be used onsmartphones and tablets as well.
It doesn't matter what device you use.
You can create things on the go or from your sofa in a snap.
This is the web version's greatest strength.
But you know.
Because it's convenient,it costs money for the server.
If I make it a one-time purchase,
the structure becomes one where I end up in the red the more it's used.
So what I'm thinking is to make it a
dedicated membership for about 500 yenand allow the web version to be used there.
Oh, of course,I'm thinking of letting those who are already in my current membership
use it as is.
Because you guys have already paid me plenty.
It's only natural.
…Huh?
You're going to keep paying me? lol
Thank you.
I think I can keep going a bit longer.
However, this is still just a 'proposal'.
Is a one-time purchase better, or a membership?
I want to hear the opinions of those reading this.
Honestly, I'm still wavering.

Conclusion
The 'let me just fix this' turned into four versions,
and even ballooned into a delusion about prompt culture.
I might have messed up.
But, it's probably the fun kind of mess-up.
First, a few people.
I'm looking for people to verify this with me.
V2 local version test, a bargain at 100 yen.
In exchange for an introductory article.
If there are comments, I'll release it.
If not, this will be... shelved.
Or, I'll set it at an ultra-high price and let it remain as my dark history.
Another late-night experiment note added to the pile.

I've summarized the content, so let me know if it makes you excited.
Also, please understand that this is just a tool that's an extension of my play.
See you later.
