[Gem Released] Can AI Create a Portrait from a Profile and Articles? #229

When I wrote the last article, a thought suddenly crossed my mind.

"Wouldn't it be interesting if I let AI imagine a person's 'outer appearance and inner self' using only information from their note?" I thought.

Outer appearance is the social face.
The inner self is the 'true feelings,' 'habits,' and 'desires' that seep into one's writing.

So, I thought to myself:

"This would work as art." I said.

The concept this time: Reality (outer self) and inner self (shadow).

The information I'm using this time is simple.

• note profile text → 'Person (reality side)'

• Latest note article URL → 'Inner self (shadow)'

Profiles are polished. They are proper.
But articles usually leak true feelings.
That is where the human interest lies.

So, I'll have the AI do this.

Reality = 'A proper portrait' taken in a studio
Inner self = 'A non-human shadow (angel or devil)' cast on the wall

This is the theme for this time.

First, the results.

It means creating something like this.

The information I'm using this time is simple.

• Latest note article (or URL) → 'Inner self (shadow)'

In other words,

this is a game where the AI takes it upon itself to create a creator's “worldview” through portraits.

I created a system that has the AI read your “note profile” and “latest article” to
interpret your outer appearance and inner self on its own.

How to use (3 steps for the lost)

STEP 1: Prepare your note profile text

It can be your own note, or your favorite creator's is fine too.

*However, if you want to play it safe, doing it with your own data is the most peaceful way.

STEP 2: Prepare one URL of your latest article (= material for your inner self)

This becomes the "material for the shadow."

*Using the research function that can access URLs can sometimes make it easier to pick up the content.
Since regular chat sometimes fails to pick up the contents of a URL properly,
in that case, copying and pasting the article text is more reliable.

(I used my creator page. It was easier to pick up recent articles, so it felt like my "current inner self" lol)

STEP 3: Run the Gem (meta-prompt)

The AI will organize your "outer self" and "inner self" and return a
prompt for Midjourney.

(It also ran on nano banana pro *in my environment)

This is the crux of this game.

Elements that tend to lean toward an angel

• Wanting to help someone

• Talking about ideals

• Having effort or hope

• Kindness, order, having something to protect

Elements that tend to lean toward a devil

• Strong desires

• Being cynical

• Making retorts to the world

• Possessing obsession, anger, anxiety, and destructive impulses

*To prevent misunderstanding,
demon = evil doesn't mean that.

Rather, demons are fuel for creation. (I like them)

For this project, I had some fun using the creators I've been interacting with and bothering (?) as my subjects.

*Just to be clear,
this is not a diagnosis or an evaluation, but 'play'.
Since there is a possibility of interpretation differing from the person's intent,
if you are concerned, I think it's safer to play with your own image generation AI.

What's interesting about this?

The most interesting part is this.

"The exterior matches, but the interior runs wild."
This becomes a work of art.

It feels like my own personal delusion that "this is what humans are like in the end" has taken shape.

picks things up on its own, assigns meaning on its own, and turns them into art on its own.

How to play after generation

By the way, using the portrait prompt that was returned,

• change the clothing

• change the colors

• change the background

• increase the types of shadows (angel -> beast -> machine -> god...)

If you modify it like this, you can play with it forever.

Finally: I intended this to be a "project for everyone to play with."

In my tests, I assumed it would produce about 4 patterns (angel/devil x male/female).
