I don't know if it's unpopular or just unknown, but I'm running a membership | note operations | membership | AI utilization | image generation AI | prompt | #428
Is it unpopular?
Or is it just that nobody knows about it?
This problem is quietly terrifying.
For example, imagine you opened a shop.
You stocked the products.
You built the shelves.
You put price tags on everything.
But you didn't put up a sign.
And the shopkeeper is in the back, arms crossed, thinking,
"Why aren't any customers coming in...?"
worrying about it.
Well, obviously.
You didn't put up a sign.
And that's exactly what I've been doing lately.
What you'll learn in this article
In this article, you'll roughly learn the following.
The current status of the membership I've been running for over half a year
What you can read within the membership right now
Who it's for and who it's not for
How much of a deal it is compared to buying items individually
Just how much I've been slacking on announcements
The last one might be the most important.
It hurts to even write it myself.
Alright, let's get into it.
I'm running a membership.

This is sudden, but.
I'm running a membership on note.
For over half a year now.
The whole time.
......Did you know?
If you didn't know, you can honestly raise your hand.
I won't get mad.
Actually, it's probably my fault.
I haven't written it properly in my profile.
I haven't posted it at the end of every article.
I'm not announcing it regularly on X either.
No wonder you didn't know.
This is, even before the membership being unpopular,
a possibility that its existence had become like a ninja.
A stealth backyard.
Who would ever find that?
I'll show you the numbers.

There's no point in hiding it, so I'll show you the management numbers.
*The following numbers are what I organized by looking at my own management status at the time of writing.
After running it for over half a year, the current number of members is 15 people.
It is growing.
It is growing, but it's been flat lately.
The number of people joining and the number of people leaving are at about the same pace.
It's a tug-of-war situation where I'm breaking even.
A tug-of-war tournament would be exciting, but
doing this while running a membership is pretty hard on the stomach.
So, I was thinking about the cause.
Is the benefit weak?
Is it the price?
Is the update content not getting across?
Is my writing style too intense?
I suspected various things.
But, I suddenly realized something.
Maybe people don't even know it exists in the first place.
I haven't announced it.
It's not on my profile either.
It's not posted at the end of my articles either.
In other words, there is no entrance.
No matter how much content I create, if there's no entrance, people can't come in.
Is it a labyrinth?
It was my fault.
So, what's inside?

Since I'm at it, I decided to take stock of what's in the membership.
Right now, you can read almost all of the last 20 or so paid articles.
The focus is on image generation prompts.
For example, things like this.
Expression prompts
Structured prompt design
How to create note thumbnails
How to create manga storyboards
Ways of thinking used in image generation
Talk about turning prompts into tools
Talk about building prompts while looking at examples
These are roughly the topics lined up.
To put it the other way around.
It probably won't resonate with people who don't do image generation at all.
It's like giving a knife sharpening set to someone who doesn't cook.
It would end with just a 'That's a nice blade'.
But for people who do image generation.
People who have one foot in the prompt swamp.
People who want to create thumbnails for note or images for X posts.
For those people, there are probably many useful things.
At the very least, I think,
'Isn't it faster to join the membership than to buy these individually?'
is what I think.
I know it's weird for me to say it, but I think it's quite on the cheap side.
It also includes tools.

It's not just articles.
Right now, these three items are also included as benefits.
1. Prompt Builder: 1,000 yen
Something where you can click and build prompts with cards.
Instead of writing prompts from scratch every time,
you combine elements like composition, expression, art style, and atmosphere.
In other words, it's like Lego for prompts.
2. Manga Storyboard Tool: 980 yen
A tool that lets you create a manga storyboard-like layout with just a single HTML file.
It's useful when you want to organize the flow of a note article or project
in a panel-like structure.
When you think only in text, you get stuck, but
when you think in panels, things suddenly become clear.
That's traffic control for your brain.
3. Thumbnail Secret Sauce: 980 yen
The secret sauce for creating prompts for note article thumbnails.
It's positioned like training wheels to help you think about
"what kind of thumbnail will convey the message effectively"
based on the article body.
For note, the body text is important, but
the thumbnail is usually what gets seen first.
In other words, it's the front door.
If the front door is dim, people won't even come inside the house.
If you buy them individually, how much does it add up to?

I'll lay that out here too.
If you bought all the target articles and tools individually, it would come to a total of ¥7,340.
*This is also a figure I calculated based on the prices of my own articles and tools at the time of writing. Prices and target articles are subject to change in the future.
I calculated it and had a little laugh.
That's about 8 times the monthly fee of 980 yen.
It means you'll basically break even if you read two articles.
Of course, this is only for those who "read" and "use" them.
For those who don't read, any benefit is worth zero yen.
Even if you join a gym, if you don't go, your muscles won't grow.
The same goes for prompt articles.
It only gains value once you read it, use it, and try it out.
Let me be honest with you

It's not great to only write about the good stuff, so I'll write about the honest truth too.
This membership is not for all of humanity.
It is basically centered on image generation and prompts.
There are occasional articles on data analysis, but that is not the main focus.
Therefore, it is suitable for people like this.
People who are doing AI image generation
People who want to refine their prompts further
People who want to create thumbnails for note or images for X
People who want to reduce inconsistencies in generation results
People who want to see others' trial and error and use it for their own production
People who want to learn while using the tools
People who are more interested in the methods and thinking process than the finished product
Conversely, it is not suitable for people like this.
People who are not interested in image generation
People who have no intention of reading prompt articles
People who just want the finished product immediately
People who want step-by-step support every day
People who find my vibe exhausting
The last one is important.
My writing is sometimes a bit heavy.
In ramen terms, it's floating with back fat. And the owner is standing right next to you talking the whole time.
Some people's stomachs can't handle it.
You don't have to force it.
I also do prompt adjustments sometimes.

Also, I'll write honestly about prompt adjustments.
I don't really get asked about it much.
Or rather, I don't really get DMs in the first place.
The DMs I do get are so overflowing with love that, for some reason, they are all from people trying to get my personal information.
"I have a special proposal for you." "Please check this immediately." "Are you interested in investing?"
That love is way too heavy. Don't come trying to hug my wallet and personal information.
So, it's not a place where questions fly around every day once you join, and I spend my time correcting everyone's prompts.
I'll say that upfront.
However, I have shared prompts in paid articles, supplemented ways of thinking to match what readers want to create, and helped create prompts in the flow of things.
If I feel like it, I might adjust them together with you.
But this is not a guarantee.
It's not a service like, "If you join, I will definitely provide individual corrections!"
If that's what you expect, I'll suddenly have to sit in seiza (formal kneeling position) out of nervousness.
As for the sense of distance, it's like this.
A place to show the behind-the-scenes of prompts
A place to leave examples and ways of thinking
A backyard to keep tools
A place to occasionally dive into the rabbit hole together
Rather than a perfect school, it's more like a backyard next to your workbench.
It's more like a backyard next to your workbench.
Rather than a teacher, it's someone sitting next to you
muttering, "Wouldn't it be better to say it this way?"
That's the kind of person.
That's the vibe.
Actually, half of the tools are requests from members.
So, starting today, I'm going to verify this.
Is it unpopular?
Or is it just unknown?
I'm going to start verifying this problem today.
This article is the first step.
First, I'll make sure people know it exists.
If it grows after that,
"Oh, it was just unknown," becomes the conclusion.
that's the story.
If it doesn't grow,
then I'll have to suspect it's "unpopular."
Scary.
But I can turn that result into an article too.
No matter how it turns out, I'll use it as content.
I won't get up empty-handed even if I fall.
While I'm getting up, I'll write an article.
If you're curious, come take a peek.
People who do image generation.
People who want to play more with prompts.
People who are struggling to create note thumbnails or images for X.
People who want to incorporate other people's trial and error into their own work.
If that's you, I'd like you to take a look at the membership page once.
If it doesn't suit you, you can leave anytime.
A subscription isn't a marriage.
Think of it like a trial cohabitation.
However, for those it resonates with, it will probably resonate quite a bit.
I've finally put up a sign for my backyard.
