A Week of Physical Decline and Tension, Yet a 7-Day Recovery
Adjustment Disorder Recovery Diary: Weekly Review
July 27, 2026
It was a week where I felt unwell due to heatstroke, but I am gradually recovering. This morning, I was able to have a calm start to the day for the first time in a while, feeling that 'if every day were like this, I would be at ease.'
🌿 Today's Physical Condition
💤 Sleep
I took 2mg of eszopiclone around 10:30 PM and went to bed. I woke up once around 6:00 AM to use the restroom and got up at 7:00 AM. I got a relatively good amount of sleep, and it was a morning where I felt it would be nice if I could sleep like this every day.
Lethargy: A little present.
Tinnitus: Present.
Tension one hour after waking: A little present, relieved by Daily GABA.
Headache: None.

🌸 3 Good Things This Week
1. Since 7/21, I have been feeling unwell due to heatstroke, but I have been recovering little by little since 7/24, which honestly makes me feel relieved.
2. I received my medical certificate through the Wemeet online consultation, which took a weight off my shoulders.
3. I took burnable trash to the city incineration facility for the first time. I was nervous, but it went more smoothly than I expected, which was a relief.
📝 Weekly Review
This week was a tough one as I felt unwell due to heatstroke, but I have been recovering since 7/24. Between the lethargy, waking up in the middle of the night, and the heat, I wasn't able to do much walking or jogging.
My physical strength has dropped significantly, and I felt my core weakening as my body swayed while jogging. Honestly, I felt a bit impatient with myself for not being able to move as I wanted.
Since 7/19, I have also been experiencing tension an hour after waking up, which made it difficult to walk or jog, and that was tough. I felt so lethargic that I wondered if it was due to a fever.
Even while feeling unwell, being able to review the air conditioning settings and make my room comfortable became a small source of support this week.
Still, I feel that if I can spend every day feeling as I do today, that is enough. Recovery has its ups and downs, but I want to take it one day at a time, valuing my own pace without rushing.
This coming week, I want to gradually resume walking within a reasonable range to regain the physical strength I have lost.
Thank you for reading until the end.
