What Can You See When the Wind Blows Through? | Morning Intention Practice Diary 18
Hello. I am ARYA.
This is my "Morning Intention Practice Diary"
A record I started to cultivate the feeling of living as a creator.
I focus on "intentions" rather than "goals."
When I set intentions, I can find small signs even in casual daily conversations.
What could that one word or this event be leading to?
Just by thinking that way, the way I see the world changes a little.
Every day is a bit more interesting than before.
No, it's actually quite interesting.
This is the 18th installment of the series, Day 29.
Day 29: "Improving Airflow"
Many days have passed since I set this intention.
What does airflow mean, anyway?
Is it about decluttering?
Is it about cleaning?
Is it about organizing relationships?
Is it about clearing out tasks that need to be done?
Or is it something else entirely?
It was then that I came across an article by Yuki-san.
Your philosophy resides in playing while still being out of tune.
When I read the article, my body reacted before I could "understand" it.
But I couldn't put that feeling into words.
Even so, I wrote a comment.
"Playing while still being out of tune."
These words are resonating with me.
I am feeling the entire article with my body, but I cannot put it into words yet.
I received the courage to write this comment from this article.
Thank you.
You don't have to fix the misalignment.
It is okay to exist while still being out of tune.
That feeling remained quietly.
A few days later, I tried doing a so-called "manifestation" exercise.
However, I became deeply confused in the middle of it.
Something felt wrong.
My previous article was me putting that sense of discomfort into words.
The "type that moves toward an ideal" and the "type that returns to the center"
The manifestation exercise was the method of the former. But I was the latter.
It is not that I go to the future.
When I return to the center, the future quietly opens the door for me.
I encountered the phrase "ringing while still misaligned," felt discomfort with the manifestation exercise, and wrote about it in an article.
In the midst of that flow, something inside me quietly unraveled.
“Ah, this is it!”
The object for improving ventilation was not the room, my belongings, or my schedule.
It was not about rearranging my environment, but about myself.
As I encountered the article, felt the discomfort, and put it into words, my understanding of myself progressed all at once.
That it is okay to remain misaligned. The sensation of returning to the center rather than chasing an ideal.
And, the fact that I learned I was part of the aphantasia community. (I will talk about this in the next article)
Looking back, perhaps the intention to "improve ventilation" was what summoned this entire sequence of events.
What I realized during this process is
I knew the answer was inside.
So, I was looking inward.
But,
there was no need to even look.
Setting an intention may not be about getting an immediate answer,
but rather being quietly guided toward understanding through these moments of discomfort and encounters.
Setting an intention. Once again, I was surprised.
Setting an intention.
Once again, I was surprised.

Thank you for reading until the end.
