Over the past two months, I have provided support to nearly 30 people, primarily those using CrowdWorks.

The entry point for support is always through a survey.

"What are you currently struggling with?"

I have 30 responses to that question.

When aggregated, a clear pattern emerged in the worries of side hustle beginners.

🥇 1st Place | Applications are not getting accepted (21 out of 30 people / 70%)

This was the runaway winner for 1st place.

This is the person who, as mentioned earlier, was selected from over 70 applicants and secured a 1-year contract for 48 column articles at one per week.

Although now is the time to focus on that ongoing project, it is also a roadmap that expands future possibilities.

The first person I interviewed as a monitor.

During the interview, we discovered that their past experience in the food and beverage industry could be utilized.

🥉 3rd Place | Cannot distinguish suspicious projects (15 out of 30 people / 50%)

I applied for a job that said it would be a 'Zoom interview,' but when I went, it was a sales pitch for a school.

I don't know what to believe anymore.

But I don't know where the first step is.

Honestly, even I think that this might be too much support on my part.

So, I plan to teach you how to search for projects that match your preferences on your own.

6th Place | Anxious because no one around me has a side hustle / Can't keep up the motivation to continue (Total 13 people / 43%)

It's hard to talk about side hustles with family or colleagues.

When you keep it all to yourself, you feel like you're going to break.

1. I am good at structuring 'what needs to be done now' from a big goal

During my time as a national public servant, I was in charge of work related to national budgets and tax systems.

It was a world with many stakeholders, deadlines, and where a single mistake could have major consequences.

Working backward from the goal of 'next fiscal year's tax reform,' I determined who to ask for what and when, where to get consensus, and when to release it to the public.

I did that kind of schedule design almost every day.

2. I am good at refining difficult content into words that the other party can understand

I often had the job of refining complex content, such as tax systems, into words that could reach lawmakers, other ministries, the media, and the public.

Even when explaining the same 'tax reform,' you must use political language for politicians.

Use journalistic language for the media.

Use everyday language for the public.

I learned through experience that 'the way you choose your words can drastically change how things are conveyed.'

I joined a startup web marketing company founded by a college friend.

With a shortage of staff, I had to do every necessary task myself.

SNS management such as Instagram.

Design for LPs and flyers.

Video content production, ad management, and building customer acquisition systems using LINE.

I have done all of this hands-on myself.
