[Earning with Suno.ai Part 2] The process from registering AI songs on Spotify to their release.

I wrote a note about this previously,
and since it has been successfully released on Spotify, I will introduce the process in detail. (*If you haven't read the note above, please check it first.)
The origin of this story lies in the fact that since around last year, I have been seeing more and more information about "Earning money using Suno.ai!".
I am the type of person who, when seeing that kind of information, first doubts it and asks, "Is it true?", so I started verifying whether I could earn money myself.
To briefly recap,

It took about 2 days for the song to be released.

I uploaded the song around the time I wrote the note above, so I think it was May 27th or 28th.
And, after waiting for a while, I received an email like this.
Since the email arrived on the 29th, I think it took about 1 to 2 days.
I expected to wait about a week, so I was surprised that it was quite fast. Since I finished registering one song, I uploaded other songs using the same method.
Since the release of the second song and onwards also started the next day, I feel that it became even faster after the first song.
Once the upload and distribution are complete, the DistroKid My Music page will look like this screen.
If there is a green mark, it is likely that the distribution is going smoothly, and the logo on the right is the platform that is distributing it.
For example, if you press the Spotify mark for a specific song
It will look like this screen.
If you click the Spotify icon on this screen again,
the Spotify screen display can be confirmed.
With this, I was able to confirm that the distribution is complete.
About the reports
To see "how much your songs are being listened to," you can check the Reports tab at the top.
By the way, I feel like nothing was reflected for about a week.
After leaving it alone, the access numbers appeared before I knew it.
The current numbers are quite meager, but personally, I'm excited because I plan to keep increasing them from here on out.
Sharing the current figures for now,
it looks like this.
It has been trending upward since about the 16th, but that is because I implemented a certain strategy.
Once the numbers increase a bit more and I feel confident, I plan to share that method as well.
By the way, there is quite a bit of access from outside of Japan as well.
I think this is also an interesting point unique to music.
Music has the power to make people listen to a song if it feels good, even if they don't understand the language.
How much are you earning with Suno.ai x Spotify?
As for the crucial question of "how much are you earning?", to be blunt,
the revenue is currently 0
.
The verification results are in, and this is the reality.
Or rather, I can't find the earnings screen. Haha.
Looking at the DistroKid Q&A page it said this:

It seems that in many cases, it takes three months or more to be reflected, so until then, it's impossible to know how much you've earned.
In any case, I don't think the play counts will increase significantly without about three months, so let's just leave it at that.
If I open it up after three months and find
that I've earned hundreds of thousands of yen,
I'll aim for that kind of luck and keep distributing steadily.
I constantly remind myself that "fundamentals" and "consistency" are important in everything.
I think the trend of earning as an AI artist is coming.

I am creating and uploading music videos on YouTube, and of course, advertising revenue is generated based on the number of views.

It's only about a few tens of thousands of yen, but I think it's fair to say that I have succeeded in monetization to some extent.
As an aside, I was excited thinking, "Surely this kind of MV will get 1 million views...!", but reality isn't that sweet, and contrary to my expectations, it only got 10,000 views on the first day. Haha. The views are finally starting to trickle in, but I'm still aiming for 1 million views, so please take a look if you'd like.
However, making MVs takes a fair amount of effort, so I am also verifying whether "you can earn money by just uploading music to YouTube."
I created a new channel under the name of the AI artist "Ø-SODOX".
I only have about 400 subscribers right now, but I'm aiming for 10,000 for the time being.
I've reached a point where I can create songs I like enough to listen to every day myself, so please give them a listen if you'd like.

Personally, I think this is a field that is definitely going to take off, so if you are interested, I think you should start by creating songs with Suno.ai.
In any case, a 3-month period of patience will follow, but once you get past that, it can become a good way to aim for passive income and the like.
