The peaches have arrived again this year! Peaches wearing white hats🍑
Peaches have arrived. Yes, it is that time of year again.

My brother's wife is from Okayama, and every year around this time, she unfailingly sends a box full of splendid peaches. Every time I open the box labeled
Special Selection Okayama Peaches I think the same thing every year. Ah, this season has come around again, I think.
Peaches are mysterious fruits. Just by looking at them, they already have a soft, sweet-looking face.

The peaches that arrived were wearing white net hats and were lined up neatly in the box.
Every time I take one out, I feel as if I am being gently greeted.
When I eat one, it is impeccable. It is juicy, and when you bite into it, the juice overflows.
There is a slight acidity within the sweetness. This slight touch is exquisite, making them much more flavorful than peaches that are just sweet.
I ended up eating it while standing in the kitchen, and before I knew it, my palms were covered in juice.
I thought to myself that I was too old for this, but such reason is of little use in front of peaches. My brother's wife has always been very kind to me, not just with
peaches. My brother is not exactly easy to deal with—I can say that for sure as his younger sister. Since she is a person with enough emotional capacity to understand him, support him, and still faithfully send
peaches
every year, I am truly humbled. After finishing one peach
, as I gazed at the pit, I thought vaguely. Perhaps gratitude is something that spreads quietly in the heart, just like the sweetness of a peach.

For now, I think I will look forward to this time of year coming again next year.
Thank you for reading until the end😊
