I would like to introduce the tools I use on a daily basis.
They are nothing special, but they are things I naturally reach for in my daily work and life.
These are tools that are easy to use and feel just right for me at the moment.
Work Chair
First, let's start with the desk area that supports my remote work time.

For the chair, I use the Herman Miller Sayl Chair. Beyond its unique design, the reason I chose it is that it fits my body well and prevents fatigue. I hurt my lower back while working on a dining chair during the COVID-19 pandemic, so I believe it is better to use a good work chair even if it costs a bit more.
Actually, I have the exact same Sayl Chair at both my desk in my home in Kansai and my apartment in Tokyo.
Even if the environment changes, the 'standard' of sitting comfort remains the same. I feel that just by that, I can smoothly enter work mode.

It features a backrest design inspired by the structure of a suspension bridge, and its unique appearance with minimal framing is a key characteristic. I like both its look and its comfort.
The gadget pouch I arrived at after trial and error
For a pouch, I love using the KOKUYO 'BIZRACK L'.
Actually, I have been stuck in a 'pouch swamp' for a long time and have tried various things. Among them, this shape is the best for me right now.
Because it has a square shape and stands on its own, it doesn't take up space even on a limited desk, and it's great that I can see everything inside at a glance. I think I will write about the details of this on another occasion.

It is 24 cm long x 9.5 cm wide x 14 cm high, providing storage capacity while being a well-balanced size.

Favorite digital tools
I keep my digital tools and pencil case in the BIZRACK.
For digital items, I have the Arc Mouse that folds flat, Anker adapter and cable, and a Type-C hub. Also, the Shokz headset.

Shokz uses bone conduction, which gives me peace of mind because it doesn't block my ears, and the noise-canceling microphone is excellent. It picks up only my voice clearly even in environments with background noise, so it is very useful for web meetings. I like that these are all neatly packed like a puzzle.
Favorite stationery: Contents of the pencil case
I store the stationery I use daily in a pencil case.
The pencil case is the Tsukushi Stationery Store's 'Tsukushi Pencil Case'. The texture of the linen canvas feels good in my hand. When you open the zipper all the way, it spreads out like a notebook, so I can reach the pen I want to use immediately.

Many pens are stored simply and it is easy to use.

My current go-to is the KOKUYO Fine Writer tucked into a PLOTTER pen sleeve. The smooth writing experience is so pleasant that it gets the most use.
As a secondary pen, I use the uni-ball one ZENTO Signature, which I love for its writing feel. It is just as good as the Fine Writer, and I use it when I want a change of pace, need to write with a finer line, or want to vary the thickness of my writing.
I also keep my beloved LAMY 2000 for my planner, and the Kaweco Special Pencil, which has a simple octagonal design and a comfortable, balanced weight.
In the holder on the other side, I keep the Join Dots and Stickyle Stamp, which I have introduced in my planner articles. I also have the KIRE-NA, which allows me to draw relatively straight lines without a ruler. I love it because its mild colors don't interfere with my notes and help keep things neatly organized.
Using these tools according to my needs at the time has become a small daily pleasure.
I have written separate articles for each of these. I plan to write about the ZENTO eventually as well.
Conclusion
Being surrounded by things I love is simply enjoyable. What draws me in isn't just good looks, but items that are simple yet highly functional. I believe that the tools that stay by my side the longest are the ones that don't get in the way of my movements and have a clear purpose for being used.
Moving forward, I want to continue working with a little extra motivation by choosing tools that I feel truly satisfied with.
Thank you for reading this far. I hope your stationery time is wonderful as well. If you could give me a 'Like' to show your support, it would be a huge boost for writing my next article. Thank you.
I have organized my published articles into magazines by category.
