Royal Book [Resonance Chapter] Story Summary & Character Introduction for Episodes 11 to 20

Synopsis

In the city of tools, the "Wind-Reading Festival" finally began. Silas and Oscar decided to participate in the sailing competition, while Emma and Yomuto joined the pirate treasure hunt.

During the pirate treasure hunt, as the cheers of children echoed through the town, Emma and Yomuto encountered the final challenge related to "Till-Mare." The pedestal of Till-Mare, which overlooked the town, was engraved with countless "0"s and "1"s. Just as they were confused and didn't understand the meaning, Emma suddenly began to read the numbers.

Caleb said to Silas, who was worried that the "0" and "1" numbers might be related to the "Royal Book."

"Perhaps Kai Roul and the others might know something."

Following that suggestion, Silas and Oscar visited Kai Roul on the Grand Blue. There, they were told by Mark Rayner, the first mate of the Grand Blue, about his own background and the story related to the numbers. Furthermore, Kai Roul taught them that "there are unfathomable beings in this world."

In the sailing competition, Silas and Oscar were narrowly defeated by Kai Roul and Mark Rayner. However, through that competition, it became known to them that they were "Resonators."

As the festival neared its end, Emma was kidnapped by someone. Silas rushed to Magnus, but his traces had vanished as if he had never existed in the first place. It was not just Magnus. The whereabouts of the church priest and Yomuto were also unknown.

Amidst the unsettling atmosphere, Silas heard about the "Created Ones" from Kai Roul, who had helped him search for Emma.

While searching for clues, Silas found a piece of paper in Emma's bag. It also had "0"s and "1"s written on it. When he held his hand over it, the numbers glowed faintly and turned into letters.

It will eventually lead to the path to the door of the end

Realizing that his power as a Resonator had brought the golden letters to the surface, Silas ran to Till-Mare. When he held his hand over the pedestal, golden glowing letters emerged and danced in the air.

The glowing letters flickered and vanished before Silas's eyes, and even the numbers engraved on the pedestal slowly disappeared as if they had finished their mission.

Meanwhile, Oscar and Caleb, who had split up to search the streets, returned to the inn. Faced with the inexplicable event, Oscar expressed his anger toward Silas. Caleb, who returned later, revealed Silas's true identity, stating that he was a Resonator.

Silas told the two that he was a Resonator of Annecy and that he could read the "0" and "1" numbers. He then told them about the golden words he had seen at Till-Mare.

Furthermore, Silas told the two about the "Created Ones" he had heard of from Kai Roul. It was an unbelievable story that they were created in a previous age and were indistinguishable from us living in the present.

--Perhaps Magnus and Yomuto are also those "Created Ones."

Then, what about Emma?
What about Caleb?
What about Oscar?
Could they also be 'the created ones'?

The suspicion spread quietly, yet surely, through the hearts of the three. Deep within the gazes they exchanged, an unspoken anxiety seeped through.

Character Introduction

Silas Astoria
The legitimate heir to the Kingdom of Anusie. A 'Resonator' who possesses the power to resonate with the vibrations emitted by nature. Following past events, he has sealed that power and continues his journey. He is able to decipher the numbers '0' and '1'.

Oscar Strassal
A large man with a scar on his left cheek. Skilled in martial arts. Born into a carpenter's family, he is traveling with Caleb.

Caleb Lee
The son of a merchant family. He is good at cooking and travels to various places in search of rare ingredients. He captivates people with his beautiful features, as if he had stepped out of a myth.

Sun
The black dog Oscar keeps.

Tsuki
The white monkey that Caleb keeps.

Magnus
A mysterious old man living in the Forest of Tools. He teaches Silas, a Resonator, the secrets of the 'Royal Book'.

Emma
A girl with a red birthmark on her left hand. It is the mark of the 'Crimson Blood Clan' who can see the future. She is traveling with Silas and the others and is able to decipher the numbers '0' and '1'.

Yomto
A boy who lost his parents and was taken in by his uncle, Reijin. He lives near the inn where Emma and the others are staying and looks after Emma like a younger sister.

Reijin
Yomto's uncle. He takes care of Yomto, who lost his parents.

Kai Roul
Captain of the Grand Blue. A kind-hearted sailor who lends a hand to Silas and his group. He teaches them about 'the created ones'.

Mark Rayner
First mate of the Grand Blue. He participates in the sailing competition alongside Kai Roul. He possesses the excellent power of 'wind reading'.

Rio Nash
A crew member of the Grand Blue.

Colin Marvey
A crew member of the Grand Blue. Former first mate.

Key Elements of the Story

Kingdom of Anusie
A small country where the Wool River crosses the center of the land. Blessed with agricultural products, it is known as the 'Land of Knowledge'.

Kingdom of Orleans
A kingdom located to the west of the Kingdom of Anusie. It prospers through trade and is known as the 'Land of Commerce'.

Kingdom of Kolkata
A kingdom located to the east of the Kingdom of Anusie. Facing the Larken Mountains, it is known as the 'Land of Martial Arts'.

Royal Book
A book passed down through generations in the Kingdom of Anusie. It is said to contain the truths of this world and the wisdom to protect the country. Silas set out on a journey in search of this book as the key to protecting his own country.

Resonator
One who draws near to the swell of life—the vibrations emitted by all things—perceiving their voices and bringing harmony.

The Crimson-Blooded Clan
Those born with a crimson mark on their left hand. They are said to possess the power to see the future.

Till Mare (Mother of the Sea)
A massive statue of a goddess overlooking the town of Tool. It is worshipped as the guardian deity of sailors. Countless numbers of '0' and '1' are carved into its pedestal.

The Clan Blue
A massive sailing ship with a majestic presence. Its symbols are its jet-black hull and the shark emblem carved into the stern.

The Created
Beings said to have been created in a previous age. Something that is not human—their true nature is shrouded in deep mystery.
