This Perspective is Amazing. [Creative Awards Impressions]
"This Noter is Amazing"
……is a project that my fellow note friend Yamado-san used to do, but their account is gone now.
——Yamado-san, how are you doing?
I chose this title just to convey those words. (I wonder if they'll notice. My heart is racing.)
Huh? Who is Yamado-san, you ask? Could it be Miku-san's ex-boyfriend??
No, no. That's not it. They are a former noter.
I met Yamado-san at an online networking event last year, and since then, we have also studied together with Maiton-san and Snow Honda-san.
No matter how close you get on note, an account can suddenly disappear one day. Sigh, saying goodbye is lonely!
Encounters with people are truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences. I want to cherish the connections right in front of me. When you feel grateful, you want to express it each and every time!
To Yamado-san's friend, Mineno Momijiba-san. Please give my regards to Yamado-san! And to my Bunji!!
Mineno Momijiba-san is a winner of last year's Creative Awards🏅
The introduction has become long.
In this article, I will introduce works that I thought had "interesting perspectives" or "innovative planning skills."
1. I'll boil all the somen noodles at the supermarket and have the best summer ever. / Noyagi-san
The leadoff hitter is Noyagi-san, who wrote impressions for 200 works for the Creative Awards "I will write impression articles for submitted works" project, and even made it onto the X trending list.
Believe it or not, they read 100 works last year, and this year they doubled it to 200. It's so amazing I'm speechless. Will they read 1000 works 10 years from now? (Just kidding)
They might end up in the Guinness World Records eventually. Noyagi-san also wrote an impression for my work, "Decide Your Own Bounty." Thank you so much!!
Even so, not only is their planning ability amazing, but their "power to give shape to words" is incredible.
When they trended on X, my timeline was buzzing too.
ローカライズなんだと思うけど、ほんとに本日のニュースにずっとあってありがてぇ……!うれしいかぎり!

ありがとー!!🐐 pic.twitter.com/OIZPrFtjX1
Believe it or not, in today's news, they are above Golden Kamuy. They are moving the times by writing impressions for the Creative Awards. They are already a charismatic figure of the Creative Awards.
Also, incidentally, I was surprised when I traced Noyagi-san's X timeline earlier. It's all related to the Creative Awards, isn't it?
Noyagi-san has been diligently retweeting various people's "I applied for the Creative Awards, so please read it." The power of their support is amazing.
That brother Noyagi is actually a salaryman. Not Salaryman Kintaro, but a salaryman noter. Isn't that amazing? When you read Noyagi-san's past articles, you don't feel an obsession with writing to that extent, and they seem very nonchalant...
...or so I thought. No, that's just me assuming things on my own after reading their note, but
"Actually, my heart is overflowing with thoughts about the Creative Awards!!!!"
Perhaps they are the type of person who lets that overflow not through words, but through actions like notes, impressions, and their X timeline.
In this world where you can't even say what you want to say, it's poison.
It's not a Creative Awards entry, but I really love this style.
Actually, I want to shout that I love the Creative Awards from the bottom of my heart. But, I'll show it through my actions!
Because, inside my heart, there is Eikichi Onizuka from those days—Takashi Sorimachi.
Ja-ja-jan. Ja-ja-jan. (Poison intro)
While reading Noyagi-san's X timeline and impression articles, I suddenly thought of that on my own. (I'm sorry if I'm wrong)
Even so, their enthusiasm for the Creative Awards is incredible. Could they be a major shareholder of note? (Maybe not)
#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout
The article I'm introducing this time is a story about buying somen at the supermarket, boiling it all, and eating it with the family while sharing impressions.
As expected of a legend in the impression community. They are pushing the ultimate in impressions. As for the family's impressions, the second son's lines are especially laid-back and funny.
Buy somen at the supermarket, boil it, and eat it. Share impressions with the family. The article's concept is quite simple.
How to make this process look interesting. It's an amazing work that pushes the ultimate edge of that.
I haven't eaten somen yet this year, so I thought I'd buy some for my home soon.
2. Sally the Witch is still my friend / Sunou Honda
This is a story about Sally, whom Honda-san met in Singapore when she was five years old. I first read it in August, but it was a story that stayed in my memory, so I decided to introduce it this time.
In the essay, an unexpected event visits the Honda family. From there, Sally, whom they called by the same name as a wizard, appears dashingly and saves them from a predicament.
And so, the essay ends with 'happily ever after'...
This is where my memory ends.
...is not how it ends.
At the very end, there is a realization unique to Honda-san that it was actually such-and-such, and a part where I thought, 'I can't believe this happened here!!' Once again, I was 'gotten' (my heart was captured) by Honda-san's ingenuity.
I think it was around May a year ago that I met Honda-san on note. I never imagined it would last this long.
Perhaps, in the future, there might be a time when I am like Sally to her, and she thinks, 'Oh, so Miku-san was actually such-and-such!' Just kidding.
I am sure my heart will continue to be stolen by her from here on out.
3. What is 'normal'? #GiftNote / Motsunikomi-san
The one I am introducing this time is an essay that Motsunikomi-san wrote for her then 7-month-old son.
——What is 'normal'?
I myself have often been told that I am 'different,' so I have always wondered, 'Then what kind of person is considered normal?'
Even though it is now called a diverse and tolerant society, the situation will likely change again in a few years.
In Motsu-san's essay, the conflict of 'what can I do as a parent' while calmly accepting the 'definition of normal' and 'diversity' that the chaotic present holds was written down in a detached manner.
What does it mean to become a parent?
Ever since my child was born, I have always thought about that. I thought the moment Motsu-san realized she had become a parent was very profound, and I almost accidentally pressed the 'Profound!' button.
When you notice that about yourself, you realize you have become a parent.
I might not be able to become a 'normal parent' in the general sense of the world.
However, I wonder if I will be able to encounter a moment where I can think, 'Ah, I have become a parent.' When I think that, I want to read Motsu-san's essay again. It was a wonderful piece that made me feel that way.
4. The Fire-Playing Rabbit Does Not Laugh / Momomaro Umeko-san
This is an entry for the fantasy novel category.
I am always impressed by how sharp Momomaro-san's human observation is in her essays.
And because you cut right to the heart of things that everyone else is afraid to say, it feels so refreshing to read.
Of course, it's not just about being blunt; you can feel Momomaro-san's consideration throughout, as well as the way she has carefully faced and deeply thought about various matters.
I think it's important to realize that 'this is my justice, but others have their own justice,' and to pause and ask, 'who does this justice protect, and who does it cast aside?'
The novel I'm introducing this time also fully showcases Momomaro-san's unique talent for observing human nature.
Her voice was high-pitched and innocent like a child's, but at times, I felt a calculating light flicker in her eyes. (From Episode 1)
Ruri, who is analytical and calm, and Ayuka, who tends to push people around. Asking to borrow money for her own convenience without a second thought, or asking for favors that are hard to say no to... Women like Ayuka, whose sense of personal boundaries is broken, are usually landmines.
And then there's Ayuka's boyfriend, Daiki, who seems somewhat frivolous...
'I don't want to get involved with them as much as possible. I want to keep a certain distance.'
I feel refreshed by Ruri, who makes sharp, witty retorts in her mind while wishing for that distance.
Even so, Ruri is just like Momomaro-san. Ruri's internal retorts are also bursting with 'Momomaro-style' wit, which is entertaining.
However, a 'certain trouble' arises for Ayuka, and Ruri gets dragged into the mess.
I felt a sense of kindness in the way Ruri, while feeling bewildered and still trying to 'keep her distance,' never forgets to be considerate, and even acknowledges that Ayuka's face and gestures are 'cute'.
I don't even know what kind of 'circumstances' she's talking about, so I can't just easily offer an opinion. (Episode 3)
While Ayuka somehow manages to try and grab happiness, the serious Ruri is on the verge of missing her chance to marry and is being tossed around by the unfairness of society...
'Ah, it's so unfair!'
As soon as the calculating Ayuka appeared, I was throwing punches at the air.
The latter half of the story reveals that there is actually a lot of background to Ayuka as well. And the real reason she first spoke to Ruri...
Amidst the swirling emotions of unfairness, cunning, and jealousy, I couldn't help but find myself rooting for Ruri, who shows a strong will to 'never let anyone else hold my reins,' and for Ayuka, who might have been clumsy despite appearing skillful.
If you like realistic stories about women, you'll surely get hooked.
The author, Momomaro-san, wrote an afterword for this work, and it contains some very wonderful things, so if you're interested in the novel, please check it out.
I hope that through this story,
you will have a moment to remember someone or forgive yourself just a little.
[End]
⭐︎P.S.
I played around too much with Yamamon-san and Noyagi-san in this impression article. I am truly sorry.
I have no plans for an apology press conference, but I like you both very much.
If I do hold an apology press conference, I will make sure to ask Maiton-san for tips on how to do it first.
I am also posting a novel for the Creative Awards on tales. I would be happy if you could read it if you have the time.
