Tanka Reviews "Yomu-Yomu" - Creative Awards Edition - Part 11

Greetings.
I am currently doing "Yomu-Yomu," an attempt to read works from the Creative Awards and compose Tanka poems as reviews.

To those who commented on the article above, thank you very much. I am reading the works you entrusted to me in parallel. Once I finish reading and have prepared the Tanka, I will post them in groups of 3 to 4. (I apologize that this is not in the order of comments.)

Now, I will introduce your works along with the Tanka.

Hareruya ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ. san

The Judges Saved the People - Servants of the LORD -

God releases His hand, for the day when the people will reach back and hold on.

I was struck by the sharp writing style, which is the opposite of the short-shorts that Hareruya-san always entertains us with. As I read on, the way the people immediately forget their promises to the Lord and fall into corruption becomes endearing. And the Judges are such varied characters! I'm sure every reader will find a favorite. (I'm a fan of Gideon in Chapter 4. It's cute how he's so cautious that he tests God twice.) People talk about having faith, but I thought that perhaps it is actually God who keeps believing in humans no matter how many times He is betrayed, so I expressed that in a Tanka.

Konishi Kinoko-san

Until the phrase "What are you talking about?", which no one used for three years, became a culture

I want the fluff to dance until it blurs the view, so I set off fireworks instead of a signal fire.

To spread the single phrase "What are you talking about?", Konishi Kinoko-san spent three years writing on note using the tag all by herself. However, the moment she shifted the direction to "getting people to use it" and "making it fun," the phrase spread in the blink of an eye, and now it can be enjoyed in various forms, not just in writing, but also in songs, art, coffee, and more. I am one of those who jumped on this fun. I composed this Tanka imagining the scene where, rather than lighting a signal fire alone, one sets off fireworks, and the flowers of the fireworks turn into fluff, blurring the sky and flying off into the distance.

[Novel] To the stardust shining in the distance

Even if weak, I want to hold you close; stardust is shaped like an opened umbrella sometimes.

I have been following this work for some time, and when I asked the author if I could compose a Tanka after it was completed, they kindly agreed. I received various messages from this work. The characters, starting with Shogo Kosaka, who is the axis of this story, are by no means perfect human beings. That is precisely why I felt that the breath of humanity was depicted. Even if you yourself are weak, you can still hold someone. You can share body heat. I composed this Tanka with gratitude for what nicole-san taught me through this work.
