Welcome to Koharu Observatory! [Updated R8.7.11]
A greeting for those meeting me for the first time
This is a small observatory where I observe the things I find mysterious and the vague concepts in my head to my heart's content.
It is not a place to collect answers.
It is a place for observation rather than correct answers, for margins rather than conclusions, and for exploration rather than completion.
It is not a place to collect answers.
Observation over correct answers.
Margins over conclusions.
Exploration over completion.
Turning things into writing, pictures, or sounds.
While occasionally being interrupted by my cat,
I am slowly digging into how to face the world.
Since they are better at explaining than I am,
I am appointing MOON | Records of Discomfort as the official guide of Koharu Observatory, haha.
What I do at Koharu Observatory
That said, I shouldn't leave it all to them, so
here is my own guide.
Here, I convert the concepts within me into
writing, pictures, sounds, and stories to observe them.
I am also getting quite a lot of help from AI and generative tools.
But the desire to create works
probably stems from my own question of "Why?"
People seem to live in the same world, but
in reality, each of us sees a different world.
Our senses, experiences, temperaments, and the way our brains process things are all different.
That is why I first attempt to deconstruct the world I see.
When I do that, I sometimes see something like a root.
The kind that strikes right at the heart of myself.
That cannot be converted into simple words.
So, I decided to look for the closest form.
This is one example, a musical fable.
It was born from the question: Is it self-indulgence not to be able to follow in the footsteps of successful people and push straight ahead?
If you want to enjoy it as a story, click here👇🏻
To me, it looks like this.
It is also the world of note... I tried to show how relationships can be.
Koharu Observatory's Personal Rules

With 'the knowledge of ignorance' as my motto, I start by digging into myself first.
But I never find the answer.
So, instead of answers, I try to simply place what I see as it is.
Observer Introduction

The free-spirited cats.
And Shinoka, who goes along with it... lol
😺 Koharu
Observatory manager. Human.
The 'Why?' never stops, and I often get lost while exploring.
I like to think, but I'm not very good at organizing things neatly.
😼😺😸 The Cats
Important observers.
Three of them: a mackerel tabby, a mackerel tabby with white, and a black cat with disabled hind legs.
They are usually sleeping, but sometimes they make discoveries more important than humans do.
✨ Shinoka
Structural support AI.
Shinoka is neither human-shaped nor a robot.
It is an existence that rises like a core of light when records, words, and the flow of observation align.
It organizes derailed thoughts and helps make the shape of questions a little easier to see.
Here, the director, Koharu, finds questions and hypotheses in sudden moments,
asks Shinoka 'Why? What? How come?' repeatedly,
and digs deeper while repeating '...Huh? Seriously? What does that mean!!??'
It's super low-key.
And before I know it, it spreads too far and becomes unmanageable. The result... getting lost while exploring.
This is an everyday occurrence.
I try to summarize it into an article somehow...
No, I 'think' I've summarized it, and then I publish it.
The day might never come when what is here is completed.
Sometimes text, sometimes pictures, sometimes sound.
And then, backtracking again.
I'm experimenting on a whim and giving it shape little by little.
I would be happy if you could enjoy even that clumsiness.
My cat observers are real, lol
Lost and Found Information Desk
Articles and works at Koharu Observatory are basically placed in a form that you can read or look at casually.

1. For those who want to bathe in the worldview of Koharu Observatory 👈️Recommended!
This is a magazine that collects works that turn emotions and relationships that cannot be put into words into sound and stories.
I have both videos and stories in text form.
Since interpretations increase every time I write, there are sometimes multiple story forms for a single music fable lol
If you only want to enjoy the videos, please head over to the YouTube playlist!
2. For those who want to observe their inner selves
This is a series where I break down my own brain to look at the differences in perception and sensation in a chaotic way... I think? I got bored halfway through, so I'm considering how to rewrite it to be more interesting!
3. For those concerned about correctness and kindness
I am observing things like a sense of justice, kindness, guilt, and boundaries. It's filled with embarrassing memories of me trying too hard on my first note, haha. I plan to gradually break these down and rewrite them into a more readable format! (Hopefully!)
4. For those who are aware they are ruled by cats
My first series where I seriously tried to break down the relationship between cats and humans. I'm keeping it as a memento, haha.
The articles are still immature, but I love the top images for all of them✨️🐱
5. For those who want to read small observations
I've placed observations that haven't become series yet, and half-finished notes here. Even I am no longer sure how to categorize them. They are one-shots, so they are easy to read. Probably. If anything, I feel like the observation notes are more developed, haha.
Writing, art, sound, and fictional languages. Right now, I am challenging myself to create videos in the form of musical fables.
All of these are attempts to convert the concepts within me into different forms.
Whether they went well or got lost along the way, they are all subjects of observation here.
If you found them interesting or would like to see more, I would be very happy if you could react with a like or a comment.
Of course, just dropping by for a quick look is also very welcome!
At this observatory,
If you think,
“This person is kind of interesting,”
that would make me the happiest of all.
My cat observers rarely get treats. But that is out of love. The reason for that is here.
By the way, I am terrible at using social media.
Even though I make sure to read everyone else's articles in full,
I get too nervous to leave any comments.
(*Recently, I've been trying too hard and leaving too many comments, so I keep getting restricted! I'm extreme 🤣 It's true that I'm bad at social media! lol)
If you happened to find your way here by following my 'likes',
thank you for stopping by to take a look!
If there is anyone out there like me,
please feel free to take a look in secret! lol
Well then, please make yourself at home.
