Home Essay No. 1: Charm is born from giving and dies from seeking
Charm is born from giving and dies from seeking
Munou Shogen
This is about when I visited a housing exhibition.
I didn't know anything about building a house yet, and I was just walking around with the sole thought of "I don't want to fail."
One salesperson explained new equipment and trendy floor plans one after another.
They were so enthusiastic that there was no room for me to get a word in.
Another person was a little different.
They kept the talk about the house to a minimum and slowly listened to my complaints about my current room, how I spend my holidays, and what it would be like when my children grew up.
On the way home, I honestly couldn't remember which company's house was better.
However, I knew clearly which person I wanted to meet again.
The charm of a person is a mysterious thing; it remains in one's heart more quietly when they are trying to offer something than when they are coming forward to gain something.
Building a house is a big purchase.
That is why I think it is important not only to consider performance and price, but also who you are thinking it through with.
That day, I forgot almost all of the many explanations I received, but I still remember that gentle voice that said at the end, "Let's talk more slowly next time."

Let me give you one piece of advice.
I feel that salespeople with little technical knowledge tend to "hide behind their personality."
Once they gain some confidence in their technical skills, they may sometimes resort to "pushy sales of knowledge."
That is why there might be something you need right now.
It is to confirm what you need to ask before you go for a consultation.
What are your high-priority items when building a house?
Please list them and organize them well so you don't miss anything.
Be careful, as some salespeople will try to steer the conversation toward their own areas of expertise.
For example, if you are guided by being told, "Instead of worrying about that, why don't you be concerned about this?", it is likely that this tendency is strong.
The important thing is to first clarify your priorities.
Everything else is the necessary knowledge that comes after that.
