☀️ [Noon note] Why not become a working professional teacher? "Question time becomes OJT: Building a team that grows with a single word"
You might already be a "teacher" yourself
The work you do as a matter of course today
might actually be a "lesson" for someone else.
A working professional's "commonplace" is someone else's "amazing" future.
Doesn't that make your heart beat a little faster when you think about it?
What is a "working professional teacher"?
Have you ever heard the term "working professional teacher"?
This is not limited to school teachers.
You, who gave advice to a junior colleague.
You, who talked about life to your children.
You, who stood by a subordinate's worries.
—Each of those moments is the very image of a teacher.
A working professional's "experience" becomes teaching material
After working as a news reporter, I now teach Japanese at a high school.
Standing in the classroom every day, I think,
"A working professional's experience is the best teaching material."
You don't need major achievements or qualifications.
Just put your own experience into words and hand it to someone.
That alone makes you a fine "working professional teacher."
Real "teachers" who actually existed
For example—
・A "communicating teacher" who can laugh while telling stories of failure
・An "HR teacher" who spoke while holding back tears at the entrance ceremony
・A "father teacher" who reads books to his children
・A "nursing teacher" who conveys the weight of life with their back
・A "re-learning teacher" who started writing about their experience on note
Every one of these teachers pushed someone forward with their words.
That figure is, without a doubt, a "working professional teacher."
And you are one of them
You, too, are a teacher.
Even if you haven't been introduced,
even if your name isn't in this article,
you who spoke to someone today are already a teacher.
You might think, "I didn't mean to."
But the other person might have been saved by your words.
They might have gained the courage to take a step forward.
That single word is proof of "you as a teacher."
The words of teachers shining on note
What I am introducing here are five "teachers" I met on note.
1. Nina🎈-sensei
"Behavioral psychology that top sellers secretly use: Psychology over talent"
2. Matsunosuke Yamaguchi | Sales Consultant & Organizational HR Consultant who energizes people and organizations | HR x Sales x AI + Love = Growth Strategy Teacher
"Permanent Preservation Edition [Luck Tips 10] 10 things I want to tell my child who has become a working adult: 'What is the purpose of what you are doing now?'"
3. Kengo Shibata | Dam-style Management Teacher for stabilizing revenue
"Those who can grasp the essence have time on their side"
4. 422 yasu Teacher
"Brain switch to unleash creativity [Learning the secrets of work from brain science]"
5. Yakumo (Follow back 100) | 60-day Systematization x Self-Growth Master Teacher
"The trap of '🤴 self-satisfaction talk' that 80% of people don't know ~How to speak to be truly valued in the workplace👄~"
Your words, too, will surely remain
Even without flashy words,
Even without a special title,
there are moments when just a single word can push someone forward.
A single word spoken to a junior colleague.
A story of your own failure told to your child.
Advice based on experience given to a coworker.
All of those are "a teacher's words."
To you, who hasn't been introduced yet
In this note, I will continue to introduce such "working professional teachers."
But, in truth—
It is "you," who hasn't been introduced yet, who is surely a teacher who will remain in someone's life.
Your experience will change someone's future.
You are the teacher.
Afterword
Thank you for reading this far.
I am sure you, too, are someone who has supported others with your words.
If these words today have left even a small impression on your heart,
I would be happy if we could exchange words here again.
Your experience and words,
are pushing someone forward today as well.
