Why I want to use 🌈 | To distinguish the colors of the heart without mixing them [Happy Writing Marathon #51]
If you were to represent yourself with a color, what color would it be? And why?
Ever since I saw this prompt,
I've been thinking about it for a few days.
If I were to represent myself with a color, what would it be?
I couldn't come up with an answer right away, but
as I thought about it over and over,
I realized that maybe it really is a "rainbow color" after all 🌈
And that is
not a rainbow color where everything mixes together to become black,
but a rainbow color where each color
exists just as it is.
For some reason lately,
I feel that this sensation is very important.
Actually, for the past few times,
I have been taking a little break from the Happy Writing Marathon.
It wasn't that I couldn't write,
it was more that my heart just didn't feel moved.
But this time, when I saw the theme of "color",
"Ah, maybe that's why I've been using 🌈 so often"
it made sense to me a little bit.
I usually use the rainbow emoji naturally,
like in "I look forward to working with you in the future 🌈".
But I didn't really understand myself
why I wanted to use it.
Recently,
the heart,
it's not just black or white,
Anxiety.
Relief.
Anger.
Loneliness.
Hope.
Fatigue.
Joy.
I've come to think that
various emotions and physical sensations might be spread out like a spectrum,
and that
none of them is the only correct answer.
Instead of lumping everything together and painting it black by saying "I'm no good,"
"I was feeling strong anxiety right now,"
"I was actually hurt,"
"My body was tense."
like that,
I distinguish them one by one.
When I do that,
I feel like my heart becomes a little safer.
The picture book for adults I posted a little while ago called
"When You Notice the 'Tightness' Deep in Your Chest,"
was written while cherishing that feeling.
🌿 When You Notice the 'Tightness' Deep in Your Chest
Thanks to you, it has exceeded 500 likes,
and many people have read it.
It just hit 500 today 😌🫶

In the comments,
I received voices from people who shared in the importance of noticing bodily sensations and
the importance of touching the movements of the heart before they become words.
Thank you so much.
In this picture book,
"My chest feels tight,"
"I feel somewhat distressed,"
"I can't find the words,"
I valued having you first notice
those bodily sensations and emotions.
But in reality,
after you notice them,
you might wonder, "How should I organize this?"
So recently,
while using the concepts of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
events,
words that come to mind,
emotions,
bodily reactions,
actions
I am also creating articles and exercises that can help organize these.
Instead of denying your emotions,
"What is happening inside me right now?"
To observe it safely.
Self-blame.
Anxiety.
Relationships.
Attachment.
Parenting.
I post articles and exercises where you can organize themes like these
little by little.
Not just for reading,
"Noticing the flow of your heart right now"
"Trying to organize things a little"
"Reviewing things with a psychologist when necessary"
I am cultivating this place little by little
as a space to encourage that first step of action.

This is an article I wrote about "receiving" and the vessel of the heart.
🌿 Perhaps people who are supported have a "vessel that can receive"
Moving forward,
Instead of mixing various colors
and making them disappear,
"Oh, this color existed too"
I hope to continue writing articles that allow you to observe them like that.
Thank you for your continued support 🌈
