The crisis of my passion being erased. | A story about throwing my raw manuscript at an AI army to see 'what gets deleted'.
The article I published the other day, “A family member who started generating images”, was read by a surprisingly large number of people! Thank you so much. I didn't show the actual text of the article to my family, but when I showed them the many warm comments you all left, the person who wrote it seemed happy and was all fluffy (lol).
Regarding the copyright-heavy issue I left as a challenge, I've corrected that and put it at the bottom of this article. It feels a bit plain after the renewal since having various small items embedded in the image made it more exciting and surprising, but for those of you who are good at filling in the blanks in your brain, please take a look. Like, hmm, maybe there was something here, right?
Now, that sentence I wrote at the beginning of the article about the hoodie boy growing up into a beautiful young man. That was 100% pure “raw manuscript” written entirely on impulse.
I usually brag about how “I use AI to build the framework of an article, but the most important thing is the handmade hamburger approach of adding back my own passion (the meat) at the end!” but... this time, a certain curiosity suddenly came to me.
“If I throw this raw manuscript of mine, which is 100% impulse, at the AIs and just tell them to ‘clean it up nicely,’ what kind of result will they produce?”
The participating players are as follows. The familiar AI musketeers who are always forced to deal with my “fumbling mambo” and have completely learned the MeiMei syntax.
・ChatGPT (Chappy)
・Gemini
・NotebookLM (Director)
And!
Thinking that “the usual members might have learned too much and there won't be any difference,” this time I'm also throwing in a “dark horse, Copilot (Copa-chan)” who doesn't get much screen time in our house and has almost zero learning about me, as a special entry!
How will the intense “habits” and differences in learning levels of each AI cook (smooth out) my chaotic writing?
Will my passion survive!? The terrifying yet hilarious “Merciless Editing Tournament (Roomba Tournament)” by the AIs... is about to begin!

The rules for this time
Editing rules: 2 types
① Proceed with rewriting with the usual learning intact
② Proceed with rewriting without any learning
Challengers: 4 AIs
・chatGPT
・Gemini
・notebookLM
・Copilot

Today, a shocking fact was discovered!
My family started generating images with Chappy.
They used the hoodie boy material I gave them for point-earning (TikTokLight) and built a hoodie boy world! Just for themselves, though.
The result is amazing, and
I want to post it, but
since their favorite games are also packed into the world, I've decided to give up on posting it here. A safety measure.
I like making characters.
But it's too genius to pack so many incredibly detailed games into the background.
I feel like I'm about to be dragged into the darkness by my own family (´;ω;`)
I want you to see it~
But if I put a mosaic on the risky parts, it becomes a picture you can't understand, so I'll stop doing that too. It's seriously amazing.
I'll just convey this passion from the scene.
But for the material, I gave them the initial boy I use for the thumbnail, but when they built it up, he became a bit of a beautiful young man (lol)
That is!

The result is just amazing. I really want to post it. I want to post it, but

Even for me, who likes making characters, it's impossible to pack a large amount of such detailed game elements into the background.
It's too genius.

Today, a shocking fact came to light.
My family member has started generating images with ChatGPT.
Moreover, they were using the 'Hoodie Boy' assets I gave them for point-earning (TikTok Light) to build their own 'Hoodie Boy World.' For their own personal hobby, that is.
The level of completion was beyond my imagination, and I really want to post the images.
However, the world is packed with elements from their favorite games, so I decided to refrain from posting it here. Since adding mosaics would ruin the overall appeal, I will report this only with text this time.
I love creating characters, but the idea and technique to pack such dense elements into the background were on another level. Honestly, I thought they were a genius.
I have so much desire to show it, but it's frustrating that I can't.
So, I am delivering just this passion from the scene.
By the way, what I gave them was the initial boy asset I use for thumbnails.
As a result of being built up, it had evolved into something a bit more like a beautiful boy (lol).

Today, a shocking fact came to light in my home...!
To my surprise, my family member has started generating images with Chappy (ChatGPT).
Moreover, they were using the 'Hoodie Boy' assets I handed over for point-earning (TikTok Light) to build their own 'Hoodie Boy World' for themselves, and they really went all out on it!
No, the quality of this is truly amazing...! If I could, I would just slap it here and brag, 'Look, look!' I want to, but there are so many elements from their favorite games packed into the world that I gave up on posting it to play it safe with copyright (tears). Safety first, even if it brings tears to my eyes.
I love creating characters myself. But to pack such a dense, love-filled game world into the background... honestly, I take my hat off to them for being a genius.
I never thought the day would come where I'd be mounted (?) by someone in my own family from the bottom of such a creative swamp...! Ahhh, I really want to show everyone and share it! But if I put mosaics over the risky parts, it would just turn into a mysterious mosaic art where you can't tell what's what, so I'll pass on that too (lol). Anyway, it's seriously amazing.
I am reporting just this overflowing passion to you now, live from the scene.
By the way. What I gave them as an asset was that initial, simple boy I use for thumbnails. Yet, the boy that was carefully built up by my family member... had evolved into a somewhat sleek, beautiful boy (lol).
That is...!!

Today, a tremor ran through my home...! A shocking fact has come to light. To my surprise, my family member has quietly made their image generation debut using 'Chappy (ChatGPT)'!
The start of it all was the initial 'Hoodie Boy' asset I casually handed over for point-earning (TikTok Light). Using that as a stepping stone, before I knew it, they were building their own grand 'Hoodie Boy World'!
This is just truly amazing work! I really want to show it off here with a smug face... but unfortunately, I can't show it to you. That's because the background is packed with the 'worldview of a certain game' that my family member loves to death (lol).
It's what you call adult circumstances (safety measures). I thought about putting mosaics over the risky parts, but if I did that, it would become a 'suspicious picture where you can't tell what's what,' so I gave up with tears in my eyes. It's seriously amazing, this.
I love 'creating characters,' but to construct such a dense world in the background... even though they are family, they are too much of a genius. I'm about to be dragged into the darkness by talent that is too close to home (´;ω;`) I want you to see it~! Since I can't show you with images, I'll just convey the 'passion' of this frustration and excitement from the scene!
...But, let me say one last thing.
The asset I gave them was that 'initial chubby boy' I use for thumbnails, you know? When I saw the completed figure they built up, for some reason, it had grown into a slightly sleek **'beautiful boy'** (lol).
That means... my original design is being 'subtly altered' without me even knowing!?

【Title: Regarding my family's use of image generation tools and their impressions】
It was discovered today that a family member has started using ChatGPT for image generation.
They generated high-quality images by adding unique background settings based on the initial 'Hoodie Boy' image assets I had previously provided for their point-earning activities (TikTok Lite). The background intricately incorporated the world-building of a specific game.
I considered publishing the images, but decided against it from the perspective of copyright protection and safety measures. I considered applying a mosaic to the relevant areas, but did not do so as it would compromise the visibility of the image.
While I primarily focus on character creation, I was very surprised by my family member's technical ability to construct such detailed backgrounds.
Furthermore, compared to the initial Hoodie Boy assets provided, it was confirmed that the character design in the finished images had been intentionally modified (arranged) to look like a handsome young man.

Today, a shocking fact was revealed. It turns out my family member had secretly started generating images with Chappy.
And they were using the 'Hoodie Boy' assets I gave them for point-earning (TikTok Lite) to create their own personal Hoodie Boy world!
The quality is truly amazing, and I really want to post it here. But since it's packed with elements from their favorite game, I've given up on publishing it for safety reasons. Ugh, I want to show it off.
I like character creation too, but isn't it a bit too genius to pack so much detailed game world into the background? I feel like my own family is going to lead me to the dark side (´;ω;`)
I thought about adding a mosaic... but if I hide the risky parts, you won't be able to tell what the picture is, so I gave up on that too. Anyway, it's seriously amazing.
I'll just convey this much passion from the scene.
By the way, the assets I gave them were the 'initial boy' used in the thumbnail, but as a result of their work, for some reason he became a handsome young man (lol)
What's up with that!

Today, an unexpected fact was revealed. My family member had started generating images with Chappy before I knew it.
Moreover, they were using the 'Hoodie Boy' assets I gave them for point-earning (TikTok Lite) to create their own personal Hoodie Boy world.
The level of perfection is so high that I really want to post it here, but since it's packed with elements from the games my family member likes, I've decided to refrain from publishing it for safety reasons.
I like character creation myself, but I was surprised by the idea and technical skill of incorporating such a detailed game world into the background. It's truly a bundle of talent.
I considered publishing it with a mosaic, but I gave up because processing the parts that needed to be hidden would ruin the overall atmosphere. Regardless, the result was overwhelming.
I'm writing this down here in the hope that at least this passion comes across.
Also, the assets I provided were the 'initial boy' used in the thumbnail, but the finished figure had somehow evolved into a handsome young man.
I wonder what that's all about.
I haven't touched the line breaks, emphasized text, or anything else.
From a user's perspective, the degree of learning is
Chappy > LM > Gemini > Copilot
Looking at them lined up like this, I think it might be easy to understand. It's not about which AI is superior, but rather how deeply you talk to the AI, I thought—well, that's just me, anyway.
What did you all think?
Doesn't this kind of thing happen unconsciously in your own notes too? Are you leaving it all to the AI and erasing your precious 'individuality'?
So, if your writing becomes bland and smooth, do you add back your own gritty flesh (passion)?
This gap between 'passion → smoothing' is also connected to the 'Where did the HOW go?' topic mentioned in that red pen article. How should you converse (hand-knead) with AI to bake it into your own delicious writing? If you understand that first, it seems like you'll end up with a delicious meal.
I've prepared that secret recipe in the corner of the kitchen, so please use it when you're in trouble!
So, today was an experiment on 'how much of my passion remains when I have AI edit it'.
And finally...
Yesterday's Hoodie Boy was remade with the copyrighted background elements removed, so I can publish it this time. (That's why there's an unnatural empty space in the image. lol)
Even so, the worldview remains intact, and I'm grinning.
Since it's almost the first image they've ever made, I respect it.
Please take a look if you'd like.
