Changing Results by Creating Causes That Feel Right to You
Whenever I didn't get the results I wanted, I would always feel impatient.
I would corner myself, thinking I had to try harder, and face the pale, glowing screen late at night.
I would try to create a perfect plan with my limited intellect, only to end up hurting myself over the reality that nothing was progressing.
In truth, I think I didn't even know where to begin.
The more impatient I became, the tighter my chest felt, my breathing grew shallow, and even my fingertips scrolling across the screen turned cold.
Some time ago, I encountered the phrase "As a Man Thinketh" (The Law of Cause and Effect), known from the book by James Allen.
Cause and effect—in English, it is Cause and Effect.
We often struggle, trying only to change the visible results right in front of us.
However, just as a field that won't sprout won't bloom no matter how much you till the soil, what you truly need to change is the cause—what you choose to sow there.
There is also the term "Law of Attraction," but it is by no means about waiting for miracles like manna from heaven.
It is an extremely simple mechanism where what you focus your consciousness on naturally gathers in your world. as it is.
We live every day in a vast sea of information and words.
The future we walk toward changes depending on what we choose from that sea and keep in our hearts.
One of the small ways I create causes in my daily life now is by quietly writing down posts from people I encounter on social media into Google Keep or my notebook.
Among the countless words flowing through my timeline, I save the passages that suddenly warm my heart or make my chest feel a little lighter.
Phrases that jump out at me when I open a book, or quiet realizations left behind by someone else.
I carefully line them up one by one on the screen, like yellow sticky notes.
There is no need to force yourself and wear yourself out trying to generate wonderful ideas from scratch.
The world is already overflowing with lovely thoughts and warm words.
It is enough to simply choose the causes that you truly feel are good and gently draw them to yourself. as it is.
As I scroll through the screen with my finger, someone's kindness quietly piles up in my hands.
As I gathered and saved these words, I felt the tension in my shoulders release, and my breathing became slower and deeper.
The words lined up are seeds of the future, waiting to sprout.
Even a great future begins with one small word picked up today.
Stop chasing results in a hurry, and try looking for seeds around you that your heart can honestly nod to.
Even if you don't know when those buds will appear, the texture of the seeds you've gathered remains warm in your palm.
To you, who are standing still right now, not knowing where to begin.
You don't need to create the perfect answer all by yourself.
Why not make one wonderful word someone left behind today a small cause for yourself by writing it down?
