Cannot progress past first Sion mission

In Walk with your head held high I crash very early on into the initial cutscene then when I try talking to Sion it crashes in the dialouge 100% of the time. I have verified files and I'm playing in online mode. I've tried talking to him like 10 times now and I cannot porgress at all.

An issue occurred at around 5:00 PM today.

The issue has now been resolved, and the game can be played normally.
