AI certainly made a mistake. But I was also wrong for acting without verifying it. So, what does it mean to "use it correctly"? Today, I had a chance to test that.

I created a listing page on Coconala

To monetize my side hustle, I decided to list my services here. The service I listed is this:



"I will create medical institution operation manuals using former hospital administration experience x AI"Someone with knowledge of medical billing, electronic medical records, and medical accounting systems uses AI to create manuals for medical settings. I believe that is something only I can do.

I created this page while using AI as a tool. However, this time, I changed my approach from the last time (CrowdWorks).

My approach this time

I show the screen to the AI via screenshots. I ask, "What should I enter in this field?" The AI makes suggestions.

I don't stop there.

I check the suggested content myself. If I feel the phrasing doesn't match reality or doesn't sound like me, I revise it and send it back to the AI. The AI makes suggestions again. I check again. I revise again.

I completed the listing page by repeating this back-and-forth.

I am the one in charge. The AI only makes suggestions, and I am always the one making the decisions.

What I realized from trying this

I realized something again with this approach.

The "operation manual descriptions" that AI suggests are generally correct.

But it is the medical billing clerk who converts medical procedures into points, turns them into medical fees, and reflects them in revenue.
That is why they are in a position to instruct doctors.

Only someone who has been on the front lines knows how to record that process in medical billing.
Doctors and other administrative staff don't know the mechanism of that conversion. And of course, AI doesn't know either.

Judgments like "there are exceptions to this procedure in medical settings" or "this is where people stumble most in medical billing" came from that experience.

I was able to supplement that because I had that experience.


In other words, while going back and forth,my experience was pulling the AI's suggestions in the right directionthat is what happened.

Last time, it was the opposite. The AI was in charge, and I was following its instructions.

AI said something -> I acted on it as is

-> I kept looking for a page that didn't exist anywhere

This time:
I make the judgment -> I have the AI make suggestions

-> I check and revise it against my experience
-> I repeat the back-and-forth to complete it

Even though I'm using the same AI, the results were completely different.

My honest current status

Revenue: Almost zero
CrowdWorks: Registration complete, waiting for projects
Coconala: Listing page published
X (Twitter) posts: Followers gradually increasing

I haven't earned anything yet.

But today, for the first time, I was able to "place my service in a place where it can be sold."

My experience in hospital administration became a "product" for the first time here. Honestly, I'm a little surprised by that.

Today's lesson

Using AI as a tool means you are in charge.

Have it make suggestions, check them against your experience, revise them, and have it suggest again.

In that back-and-forth, something that only you can create is born.

It's not a difficult concept. I felt that today.
