🌼 "Why does my body feel so heavy...?" Actually, the reason might lie in how you use your body without realizing it
Have you been feeling like this lately?
✅ You notice pain in your lower back or knees
✅ Walking feels more tiring than before
✅ Standing up and sitting down is a chore
✅ You feel like your body has become stiffer
✅ You suddenly look older
If left unchecked, these small feelings of discomfort will gradually turn into the heaviness of daily life.
"Maybe I'm just tired from being busy with work and housework..."
"Is it because of my age...?"
"I can't give in!! I have to keep trying 😠"
Many people think this way, forcing themselves to move or just leaving it alone. But deep down, many people have a sneaking suspicion.
・My body is harder to move than it used to be
・I get out of breath on the stairs
・I feel like my posture has gotten worse
Actually, these changes have one thing in common!!
And to understand that commonality, let me first tell you about my own experience.

The origin of my life as a personal trainer was a "shock"
The reason I started on the path of being a personal trainer was a huge shock I received while training with the baseball team in high school, which I still remember clearly.
"It's my own body, yet I don't know a single thing about it."
The shock I felt at that time was like being hit on the head.
At the same time, I remember a small flame being lit deep in my heart.
・At that time, did I know the names of my muscles or where my joints were attached?
・Did I know how I was moving?
・I couldn't even judge if it was right or wrong.
My head was full of "???" regarding everything about my own body...
And yet, I was practicing desperately every day and moving my body with all my might. Looking back, it was truly an unconscious full-speed sprint.
And, as I went to a sports vocational school and now work in the field as a personal trainer, every time I gained various knowledge,
The more you know about the human body, the more "beautiful," "interesting," and "profound" it is.
And at the same time, I realized that,
Most people, including myself, don't really know their own bodies.
Most people don't think about their own bodies at all.
That was the reality.
But that is by no means a bad thing.
The body is a very excellent entity that moves automatically without you even being conscious of it.
However, behind those unconscious movements, there are many habits and misalignments that have accumulated without you knowing.
As a result, these lead to pain, fatigue, and poor physical condition.
That is why I want to convey the mechanism of the body systematically to more people through note from now on.
As some of you may know, the job of a personal trainer cannot guide multiple people at once.
※ Although I think some people do, I am basically one-on-one.
I can only see one person in an hour. The limit is 8 to 10 people a day.
And most people build their bodies while continuing to attend.
In that case, the number of people one trainer can be in charge of long-term is about 40 to 50.
In other words, the number of people I can meet and be involved with in one year is very limited.
However, on the other hand,
・Cannot attend personal training
・Even if attending, there is no opportunity to learn body functions and knowledge at a gym that only does muscle training
・In the first place, personal trainers don't understand or know about the body
There are really many people in the world who want to know about their own bodies but cannot, or don't even have the idea to do so.
That is why I want to deliver knowledge about the body widely to people I cannot meet in person through this place called note. I continue to write with that thought.
If you are reading my article like this now, I would be happy if you could take this opportunity to learn even a little about your own body.
Knowing your body is the simplest and most effective way to "treat yourself with care."
And I think the first step is the very moment you are reading this text now. Just by reading it once, surely
"So that's what it was...!"
There should be many parts that you will understand.

🍑 Actually, there are many people whose hip joints are not moving
And, as for the main topic this time...
In daily life, you rarely think about your hip joints, right?
But the hip joint is a joint that should be used actively!
To explain the hip joint simply,
It is a very important joint that has 6 movements:
flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, external rotation, and internal rotation.
And usually, in daily life movements and sports movements, you will use the hip joint by combining 2 or more of these 6 movements.

However,
・Long sitting posture
・Smartphone posture
・Habits of walking
・Lack of exercise
・Muscle weakness
With these habits, the hip joint is used less and less.
When the hip joint, which should be moving actively, stops moving, some other joint starts to take over that movement instead.
This phenomenon of "moving instead" is what is called "compensatory movement."

Joint by Joint Theory
The Joint by Joint Theory explains that the body's joints are arranged in an alternating pattern of joints that should move (mobility) and joints that should be stable (stability).
When applied to the lower body, it forms an alternating, staircase-like structure:
✨Hip joint = mobility (moves)
✨Knee = stability (stable)
✨Ankle = mobility (moves)
※Every time I learn things like this, I feel that the human body is truly well-made. It is nothing short of miraculous✨
Originally, the hip joint is a joint that moves significantly and leads the body. However, if the hip joint remains immobile due to sitting posture or walking habits, it leads to:
Hip joint (mobility) → becomes stability
In other words, even though it should move, it stiffens and starts acting as a stability joint. Then, the knee located next to it...
Even though it is originally a "stability" joint—that is, a joint that should be stable—it is forced to take on the role of moving (mobility) instead of the hip joint💦

🦵 What happens when the knee becomes a mobility joint?
Structurally, the knee is not a joint that is strong against twisting or large movements. Despite this, if it starts moving in place of the hip joint:
・Knee-led walking and standing habits become fixed
・Only the front of the thighs (quadriceps) work
・Legs become thicker
・You get tired easily
・Knee pain
・Difficulty applying strength throughout the body
Such discomforts surface. In other words, the structure is: the hip joint is not being used → the knee tries hard in its place → but the knee cannot fulfill that role → discomfort occurs.

🌟 Knowing this theory reveals the true cause
For example, when symptoms like "I get tired easily lately" or "stairs are exhausting" occur, many people assume it is due to age. But in reality, it is very often just because of a way of using the body that makes you prone to fatigue.
Also, knee pain does not mean the knee is bad. In many cases, the reason for knee pain is that the hip joint is not moving. Lack of strength does not necessarily mean a lack of muscle strength either. The muscles in the front of the thighs cannot produce great force. Originally, it is the hip joint (buttock muscles) that should work strongly. However, because the hip joint has become a stability joint and does not move, the muscles that should be producing force are in a state where they are not being used at all.
The knee, which should be stable, moves too much, and different parts work excessively instead of the muscles that should be used. As a result, these discomforts appear:
・Lower back pain
・Knee fatigue
・Tension only in the front of the thighs
・Inability to use the buttocks
・Poor posture
・Body heaviness and lethargy
・Getting tired just from moving a little
When you think in this way, the "dots" of discomfort start to connect into a "line."

🍑 The ultimate basic movement to acquire correct hip joint movement
If you ask whether it is impossible to return the body's joints and muscles to their proper rhythm, of course that is not the case. If the hip joint is not being used right now, you just need to make it usable.
To make the hip joint work properly, I really want you to use squats to make the hip joint usable✨
Squats are not just muscle training. They are the textbook of correct hip joint movement itself. If done correctly:
✅ The buttocks work naturally
✅ Less burden on the knees
✅ Ankles also become flexible at the same time
✅ Posture is easily aligned
✅ Improvement of lower back pain
Being able to do squats correctly is proof that the hip joint is functioning correctly.

🌷 It is difficult to "be conscious of it all the time." But if you acquire the basic movements, your body will change
By incorporating squats into your daily life, the hip joint will naturally start to move, and your body's balance will begin to align.
・Pain becomes lighter
・You become less prone to fatigue
・Posture improves
・Ease of movement returns
・Metabolism becomes easier to increase
These are changes that occur when the hip joint regains its original movement.
Body heaviness, discomfort, and susceptibility to fatigue. Behind that is the fact that the hip joint is not moving. But conversely...
🍑 Just by getting the hip joint to move a little, your body will change to be surprisingly light, smooth, and beautiful. And the first step to that is squats. From today, please create moments where you are just a little bit conscious of your hip joints (buttocks)🌿 Your body will definitely respond to you✨
