Kids love it😋 Recreating that ginger pork recipe with microwave cooking✨ → Dad's time-saving meal experiment, evolved with innerwear👙 and a 100-yen shop steamer
Recreating ginger pork from the days when I had a stove, using a microwave.
Cooking vegetables at the same time using a 100-yen shop steamer and time-saving kitchen tools.
A dad's experimental meal, prepared between sewing and housework.
Continuing with the sewing today😅
Since I'm doing it anyway, I've gotten used to it, so I'm also sewing jeans and such...

It took until just before 5 PM...😂💦
I went to pick up my older child and had them try it on as soon as we got home.

It's way more evolved than the first one😆👍
I had my older child check the back view in a photo, and they gave me the OK😁
But... I added so many hooks that they can't put it on by themselves...
"Dad, you have to put it on for me when I use it!"
is what they said😅
I went to buy this↓ during the day today.
The coating had worn off, but I find it super useful every day, so I bought a replacement.
And,
I found this steamer!

I made something myself with a ramen cooker the other day, but...
This one seems to save a lot more time!

Since I'm making my older child's favorite ginger pork today, I'll experiment with the vegetables to go with it!
Put in some random vegetables,
600W for 1 minute 30 seconds

It looks cooked, but it doesn't feel quite right, so
+ 1 minute
in the microwave.

It's useful for finely chopped vegetables🧑🍳
If they aren't chopped and are whole, this one↓ is better🧑🍳
This 100-yen shop steamer is a decent size, so I'll try experimenting with it as something other than just a steamer in the future😁✨
This has added one more thing to look forward to😆👍
And now for the main ginger pork🔥
While looking at the recipe I wrote down back when I used a stove,
I recreated it in the microwave🧑🍳
Take the pork for ginger pork that was taken out of the salted malt
1 tbsp sake
2 tbsp mirin
1 tsp beet sugar
1 and 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp grated ginger
I had a lesson to go to, so I put it in a bag and left it for over 2 hours to let the flavors soak in.

Grease the microwave cooker,

and lay out the meat while stretching it out.
500W for 6 minutes

In the meantime, cut the cucumber, daikon radish, eggplant, and cabbage

Put them in a bag,
marinate in salted malted rice, and make pickles

After the beep,
flip the meat
500W for 2 minutes
Everyone is together again today, let's eat🧑🍳

I deeply felt that both sewing and cooking gradually take shape as you keep doing them😊
The 100-yen store steamer and the microwave ginger pork still have plenty of room for improvement✨👍
Next time, I want to try even easier and more delicious combinations.
Dad's kitchen experiments aren't over yet👍😁
The 100-yen store steamer is more useful than I thought.
Next, let's explore the possibilities of using it as a different kind of cooker for even more ease👍
