Today is a report on the Note Exchange Meeting I had the other day with Ayano Rii-san, a complicated office lady in her late 20s who is also a mount 'Rii'nier!

This time, it was a session to delve deeply into Rii-san, and I was the one asking her various questions!

The flip side of an 'interesting woman'

Speaking of Rii-san, she often expresses that she wants to be thought of as an 'interesting woman'.

She is fully enjoying adults playing around with serious passion, and before I knew it, I was caught up in that high energy and feeling happy too.

For example, I felt that this essay submitted for the Creative Awards was truly Rii-san's true worth!

Also, she draws illustrations, and she even drew fan art for my Creative Awards entry 'Even Unpaintable'!

Even during this fan art project, what I thought was that she didn't feel like she was 'trying to get work' or 'trying to monetize' at all, and I was impressed by Rii-san who was purely enjoying herself.

And so, I asked her about the 'interesting woman' that Rii-san upholds!

Wanting to shed the shell of 'not being fun'

Rii-san said that during her student days, she was constantly told she was serious, or rather, not fun. She spent her time fearing that 'the nail that sticks out gets hammered down' because she was looked at differently just for drawing illustrations or liking anime.

*We had a lively discussion about how it was exactly the worldview of 'Look Back'.

On the other hand, she was assigned roles like class representative, the 'good girl'.
She said that even though she thought 'that's not my style...', she carried them out, which gradually made her 'complications' stronger.

That's exactly why she really likes the vibe of playing around seriously or saying, 'Is that where you put your passion!?'.

I think the essay mentioned earlier is 100% that component.

Like telling a friend

Rii-san had a wide 'defensive range' and never had trouble with topics even when talking to various types of friends.

Also, since there weren't many friends who liked the same anime or manga, she says she got into the habit of breaking down the charm and conveying it.
*Hmm, she has high aptitude as a writer!

It's exactly the spirit of Oshi-katsu of wanting people to know about good things, isn't it.

For that reason, she said she writes her notes as if she were talking to a single friend. Her friend's reaction to the essay mentioned earlier.
Personally, it almost made me cry.

Conveying good things with the spirit of a fan.
And when it comes to where to pour your passion, you should be seriously playful.

Even during the Creative Awards, amidst the tense atmosphere, she organized a fan art project; she was truly like a single flower blooming on a battlefield.

I was able to talk with Rii-san, and I was able to share in that feeling of pure enjoyment!
