The voice I had AI create was easier to listen to than my own, haha
"Wait, this is easier to listen to than my own voice..."
The moment I first heard the voice I had AI create,
I couldn't help but burst out laughing😂
It's not a voice that belongs to anyone who has ever spoken.
It is
a voice that doesn't exist in this world created by ordering it with text.
Right now, I'm thinking about making my next Udemy course
about using Fish Audio,
an AI that creates voices, and I'm
exploring various things.
When you order it with text like "make it sound like this,"
it creates a voice from scratch.
I'm also thinking about a way to
distribute the actual audio I created
as a sample.
Since it's for distribution,
I was trying to make it a different voice from mine.
The first voice was a huge failure.
Since it was for a sample,
I thought it would be better to have something polished,
so I wrote this in the order text.
"A narrator for e-learning"
What came out
was certainly a clear voice.
But, it felt somewhat mechanical💦
The reading itself was perfect.
Yet, it sounded like a train station announcement,
like it wasn't talking to anyone,
and it lacked any real feeling.
💭"Hmm, this isn't what I meant."
Even though it's just a sample,
I didn't really want to distribute this.
I tried removing the job title.
That's when I reread the order text.
What's suspicious is
the job title 'narrator'.
Because of this word,
I felt like the voice was prioritizing
reading things cleanly.
So I stopped using the job title and
just wrote down how to speak.
A way of speaking as if
talking to the person in front of you.
The ends of sentences are soft.
A slight smile comes through.
I changed it to those instructions and
had it recreated.
Then, this time,
a surprisingly
natural voice came out!
For AI, rather than telling it the profession,
it's more effective to tell it the way of speaking itself.
This was a good discovery.
So, back to the beginning
The moment I heard that natural voice, that
one comment came out.
Lately, I've been into
creating video teaching materials
using a clone of my own voice.
Just by handing it text,
it reads it in my voice,
the one I wrote an article about beforethat one, haha
Thanks to the clone,
the gloom of recording has disappeared.
I'm very satisfied with how it works.
But the fictional voice I made for a sample
is clearly easier to listen to
than that cloned voice😇
But strangely,
I didn't feel frustrated~
When I think about it, it's obvious.
For the fictional voice,
I can order the ideal through text.
On the other hand, the clone
copies not just the voice,
but even my habits of speaking
exactly as they are.
In other words, the reason it was hard to listen to was
not the AI, but me 🤦♂️
It just shows
my own actual ability, haha
By the way, you can actually hear that clone's voice in the narration of the Claude course currently available. I'm giving it away for free for a limited time, so if you'd like, please take a listen.
In that case,
there is only one thing to do.
I just need to learn to speak more clearly and
remake the clone.
Inspired by the AI's performance,
the human is starting to practice.
It feels a bit backwards,
but this has added a new source of excitement.
By the way,
for those who have given up on videos
because they aren't confident in their voice,
there is also the option of a fictional voice 😊
It was incredibly easy to listen to,
so I guarantee the quality, haha
I, who chose to avoid speaking
rather than practicing it,
never thought I'd be motivated
by an AI's voice 🔥
Stay tuned
for the upgrade of my voice 😁 haha
🟠 The Claude course is now live!
It covers
how to use Claude
to keep up with daily posting.
The narration is
my clone
before the upgrade, haha
I'm giving it away for free for a limited time.
Feel free to take a look!
You can get it here 👇
I'll manage my weak speaking skills
by working hand-in-hand with AI.
In the same way,
you can have a sales flow
as a system
instead of relying on constant effort.
I've mapped out the flow from attracting customers to sales,
so please take a look if you'd like 😊
