A browser tool for splitting and arranging images
I made a tool that lets you place two images side-by-side to look like one, so I'm leaving it here for you.
It's for times when you want to put diagrams side-by-side or fit a 'Before' and 'After' into a single image.
Just open it in your browser. No registration or installation required. It's free, and commercial use is also okay.

01 | When to use this

🔘 A single image can feel lonely, but two images convey more information.
Conversely, if you are just putting text on a single photo, you don't need to go out of your way to use this.
02 | How to use
Select how to divide the frame from the layout list on the left. Then, just tap the frame to insert an image.
There are over 20 ways to divide it. The ones I use most often are the 'left-right split' and the 'four-quadrant grid'. You only need to look at these two to start.
You can select the export size from the top bar. For note headers, use 1280x670. There are also square, X landscape, and wide 16:9 options.
When exporting, set the top right to '2x (High Quality)'. At 1x, it will look a bit blurry on smartphones.
03 | Adjustments after arranging
When you arrange two images, one of them usually ends up being cropped awkwardly. The panel on the right is for fixing that.
Drag the image within the frame to move its position, pinch to zoom in or out, and use 'Fill Frame' to remove margins. These three actions usually cover everything.
There are also settings for brightness, saturation, and color overlays, which you can use to match the tones when two images don't look consistent. If you are adding text, applying a light black color overlay makes white text easier to read.
You can lock a fixed frame with 🔒 so it doesn't get messed up if you touch it later.
Additionally, I have included a feature to generate three variations with different color schemes, as well as a diagnostic tool to check text size and contrast. You can save frequently used layouts as templates.
04 | Nothing is happening in the background
Images are not being sent anywhere. Everything is processed within your browser.
The structure consists of just a single HTML file, and it does not use server communication or AI. Once opened, it works offline as well.
Saved data also stays only on your device. It will be deleted if you clear your browser data, so I recommend exporting your favorite layouts as files using the 'Save' function.
05 | When using this
Please feel free to use the images you create. Commercial use is also fine. No credit attribution is required.
I would appreciate it if you could refrain from redistributing or reselling the tool itself. Feel free to share the URL.
