What was the turning point for my note account after 7 years of no success? Why I'm glad I kept using note

For the first seven years after I registered on note, I didn't really gain any traction at all💦

I've put together some thoughts for those of you who are writing articles on note in your own way but aren't getting the response you'd hoped for.

I tried trial and error on my own, but got no response💦

At the beginning of this year, I spoke with someone on Zoom who told me, "I'll try doing it my own way."

I was curious about how they were doing, so I sent them an email the other day.

They had registered on note on their own and posted articles, but...

They said they were barely getting any views and were considering whether or not to continue using note.

I felt frustrated, thinking, "If only you had consulted me, there would have been so much more we could have done..."

How I started note

I started using note in September 2014.

It all started when I attended a note seminar.

Seven years of no success

Although I was an early adopter of note, I remained unsuccessful for about seven years.

Around this time five years ago, my note account was lucky to get one visitor a day.

I had zero likes and zero comments; there was almost no response at all.

The turning point five years ago

The turning point came five years ago.

On Facebook, you can see events that your friends are attending, right?

A fellow instructor from my hometown of Yamaguchi was going to attend, so I thought, "I'll go too," and joined a Saturday morning activity group on a whim.

It was the 30th commemorative session, and it just so happened to be a note seminar!

I learned the method of 'how to make it work,' and from that day on, I started writing on note every day.

My note, which had 18 articles and 44 followers in 7 years

As of May 14, 2021, my note had 18 articles and 44 followers.

Starting from May 15, when I began writing on note every day, the graph looked like an airplane taking off from a runway.

After I started writing on note every day, I exceeded 10,000 views the following month.

The benefits of using note

The only thing I decided was to 'write on note every day.' Even so, by continuing every day, I started receiving requests to speak at seminars.

Opportunities to be asked 'Could you teach me about SNS and note?' also increased.

Requests to speak at seminars for instructors as well!

For the 'note Utilization & SNS Diffusion Seminar' aimed at instructors aiming for publication, I received requests to speak for three consecutive years, with the request to 'do the same content' from the following year onwards.

The Nakano City Industry Promotion Center course has had over 100 participants for four consecutive years

In October 2021, I spoke at an SNS course at the Nakano City Industry Promotion Center.

The following year, over 100 people took my course as well💛

There was even a time when the secretariat thanked me during the video recording, saying, 'At this moment, there are 150 applicants. Thank you!'

In 2024, 254 people took the course, and the secretariat even called me 'the number one instructor for attracting customers, Ms. Shimokawa.'

I don't think I would exist as I am today if it weren't for note.

Actually, I recently received another request to speak at a seminar, but... I will let you know on note once I am able to announce it😊

The fastest way is to learn from those who are getting results

Having spent seven years with no success myself, I keenly realize how difficult it is to do things your own way.

I truly feel that learning from someone who is getting results and putting it into practice exactly as taught was the right move.

Because I have this experience, I have a strong desire to help others avoid taking the long way around.

Followers increased 10x in one month! Paid seminar attendance and paid article purchases as well

There were people who were writing on note every day in their own way but were struggling because they weren't getting the response they wanted.

After just one month of working together, some saw their follower count increase tenfold, leading to attendance at paid seminars and purchases of paid articles.

I have also supported people who were struggling because they couldn't get the response they wanted despite updating their note on their own.

I even received a message saying, 'I didn't realize followers would keep increasing even if I left my note alone (laughs).'

SNS posts turned into 'assets' on note!

I also received happy feedback that posts which used to just drift away on Facebook had turned into 'assets' on note.
