[78] Today, I'm in the mood for udon

Simmering away in an earthenware pot,
"Nabeyaki Udon" 🍲
I've been wanting to eat this for a long time.

However, my stove at home is induction, so I can't use an earthenware pot...
I haven't had many chances, so it's been a wish I've kept warm in my heart.

And then, yesterday...
I passed by a long-established soba restaurant I'd been curious about for a while.

I casually looked at the menu posted outside,
and there it was: the words "Nabeyaki Udon."

I thought, "I have to go in," and
I quietly stepped through the noren curtain.

I took a bite of the nabeyaki udon that was brought to me.
As expected of a long-established shop,
the broth, rich with dashi, soaked into my body,
and I couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief 😋

The nabeyaki udon I'd been wanting to eat for so long.
It warmed both my heart and body,
a truly delicious moment 🍲

Between soba and udon, which do you prefer?
I used to be on the soba side, but
lately I've been choosing udon more often 🍲
