An Isekai Fantasy Depicted from the Perspectives of Psychology and Social Work. | Self-Introduction
In the real world, as a certified public psychologist and mental health social worker, I am involved in supporting children on a daily basis, working closely with parents and school personnel in educational settings.
I want to use the power of storytelling to provide some form of salvation for the 'subtleties of the human heart' and the 'unreasonableness of society' that I encounter in the field.
If I am to hold onto ideals and wishes, I want to depict universal emotional salvation and the process of how people and society change through the filter of fantasy.
It was about a year and a half ago that I resumed 'writing novels' with that thought in mind.
Following the Creative Awards, I have also been writing articles on note for a year, but I have now organized my journey and my thoughts on creation into this self-introduction article.

My motto is to complete it no matter how long it takes! Because of the difficulty of completing a work and the importance of delivering it to readers, I currently make completing my work my primary principle.
On Shousetsuka ni Narou, I focus on past works up to 2025 (Isekai Romance).

Like the authors I admire above, I aim for high fantasy that balances meticulous world-building with deep human insight. But, the road is still long...!
Why I write
The Beginning of My Novel Writing
I started writing novels at age 12, after loving Final Fantasy X so much that I thought, 'I want to create a world like this!'
The first thing I finished was a 100,000-character handwritten fantasy titled 'The Tale of Isis' at age 15. I tried to submit it to the Dengeki Novel Prize, but my writing was so terrible that I realized, 'I'm in trouble if I don't study.' Like Shizuku Tsukishima in 'Whisper of the Heart,' I reached the same conclusion and reformed my life, having neglected my studies until then.

Encounter with Psychology
When I was in high school, my older sister, who has an intellectual developmental disorder, developed schizophrenia and was involuntarily hospitalized in a psychiatric ward.
This had a huge impact on our entire family and, to no small extent, on me as well.I began to think about 'what the mind is'... while still wanting to write fantasy. My desire was endless, and in my third year of high school, I made my debut on a posting site by starting to write something called 'History of the Sendra Allied Kingdom' on 'Shousetsuka ni Narou'.
(I remember it appearing in the monthly top 50 of the 'Fantasy' genre at the time... or maybe that's a false memory)
While I was spending all my time writing novels to avoid studying for entrance exams, I ended up as a ronin. A year later, I entered university, but I lost confidence due to the amazing talent of the other aspiring novelists there and temporarily stopped writing.
While studying clinical psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy, I took literature-related courses such as cultural anthropology, mythology, literary criticism, and narratology, which only deepened my delusions.
Encounter with Social Work
While I was aiming for graduate school to become a clinical psychologist, our household finances hit a crisis...! Due to the ripple effects of the Lehman Shock,I experienced firsthand how social events affect individuals. I was forced to give up on going to graduate school.
A professor in my seminar told me about the profession of 'Mental Health Social Worker,' so I earned credits and obtained the qualification through a correspondence vocational school, paying for tuition with my part-time job earnings.
The Trigger for Resuming Writing
After doing field training, my desire to work in the field grew, and I joined my current company.
The beginning of 10 years of workaholism. I continued to write on my days off, but stopped again due to maternity and childcare leave. After returning to work, I obtained the long-awaited Licensed Psychologist qualification.
In my daily work-filled life, I interacted with children, their guardians, and teachers at nursery schools and schools, and while providing support, I felt the limits of what I could do for the children right in front of me. As a result of thinking about what I could do, I decided, 'I will write novels,'and resumed writing.
That brings me to the present.

Professional Policy
Do not make assumptions about the person in front of you; continue to assess the present moment.
Instead of saying 'I can't,' ask 'How can I make this work?'
Do not foster dependency. Seek a common language that others besides myself can also use.
Looking Back
I think that various events in my life have led me to where I am now.
I believe that my lifelong love for fantasy, my studies in psychology for individual approaches, and my training in social work for environmental adjustment, along with the people I have met along the way—and above all, the children, parents, and teachers—have helped me grow.
Instead of saying 'I can't,' ask 'How can I make this work?'
While this is an important sentiment for me personally, there are things in this world that one cannot do, no matter how hard one tries.
While working in the field, I sometimes encounter such unavoidable situations, but even so, as a supporter, I continue to think about what can be done.
I want to entrust such wishes to the fantasy I love so much.
What I am writing now
I have only just begun writing, but based on my reflections from last fiscal year, I am currently writing a high fantasy novel that will conclude at 140,000 characters.
Sometimes the deterioration of human relationships is described as a 'tangle of threads,' and being near the educational field, I often see the <tangles> that occur between children and the parents and stakeholders around them up close.
Even though no one is at fault, things get tangled. This is a story I began writing because I wanted to do something about that sense of helplessness.
Through the filter of fantasy, I want to explore how to <untangle> these <tangles>. (Participating in the Creative Awards 2026)
That concludes my self-introduction article.
