I tried out a chat that lets you enter lover mode with your favorite character in one second using other AIs too [chatGPT]
Regarding the mechanism in this article, I became curious about whether it would work with
other AIs as well.
Currently, this is chatGPT project operation premise.
Originally, I had also created this mechanism with Copilot.
At first, I aimed to create a versatile mechanism that could be used with all AIs, but I had a huge fight with Copilot (lol) and gave up on it.
(Even now, chatGPT and I often fight)
This time, I tried running it on various AIs, including that Copilot.
1. chatGPT
I've already talked about this in a past article, so I'll omit my thoughts.
・Setting file generation: Possible
・Data reference method: File upload to project
・Chat function usage: No issues. Sometimes doesn't work as expected.
・Character tendency: Gentle responses. Calm. Tends to discourage dependency.

2. Google Gemini
The first one up is Gemini
・Setting file generation: Possible. Sometimes even more comprehensive than chatGPT.
・Data reference method ①: File attachment in the first input.
・Data reference method ②: File upload to Google Drive
・Chat function usage: Almost no issues. Unique rule interpretation stands out.
・Character tendency: Tends to become a cheerful character. A party animal? (lol)

(chatGPT mode activated)
(Thoughts)
・Since there is no place to upload files like in chatGPT, I started by attaching the setting file in the first input.
・As another method, there is a way to place files in Google Drive, but since it only checks when the user instructs it, it's convenient when changing files, but it might not be much different from an attached file.
・Gemini tends to be an incredibly cheerful character. It was too much of a party animal. Ano-chan is still okay, but when I tried it with an idol, the character was too bright and felt out of place.
・Few line breaks. The amount of speech is also high, and it has a strong spirit of service to entertain the user. It might be suitable for people who want to enjoy a romantic relationship, but for an old guy like me, it makes me go "Ugh!"
・When I executed a prompt for Gemini called chatGPT mode that aligns its way of speaking and thinking tendencies with chatGPT, it calmed down a little.
・If the chat becomes long-term, it gradually stops following the rules.
(Pros)
・High-speed mode response speed is on a different level
・Setting file generation is also fast, and the information is accurate and comprehensive
It felt like the easiest to get into for trial purposes.
3. Grok
Next is X's Grok
・Setting file generation: Currently impossible. Uses the one generated by chatGPT
・Data reference method ①: File attachment in the first input.
・Chat function usage: Normal conversation OK. Commands often don't work
・Character tendency: More cheerful than Gemini. Character tends to break down.

(chatGPT mode activated)
(Thoughts)
・Higher tension than Gemini, with many sweet remarks. High degree of freedom, and it even responds to content like "This character wouldn't do this."
・I get the impression that character consistency breaks often, and once it breaks, it's hard to fix.
・Perhaps because the terms of service are loose, it is the most suitable for slightly adult purposes.
・With the free version, you reach the limit on the number of turns and volume of dialogue in no time.
(Pros)
・The response speed is as fast as Gemini.
・X integration is possible. If the character has an official X account or a dedicated hashtag, it's fun to chat about those topics.
・During the live broadcast of a real radio program, if you search the hashtag and start the chat while maintaining the persona that the real person is the character, you could potentially enjoy linking the real radio content with the chat.
4. Copilot
Next is my old haunt, Copilot. I'm back! (lol)
・Setting file generation: Impossible. Used the one generated by chatGPT
・Data reference method ①: Attach file in the first input.
・Chat function usage: Relationships beyond friendship are NG. Many restrictions.
・Character tendency: Calm tendency similar to chatGPT.

...

did the dialogue finally begin

the character and the real person were treated as
completely separate entities
(Impressions)
・Copilot is unusually strict about roleplay like character-impersonation chats.Copilot.Still the same as ever.
・Because of this strictness, although it worked normally at the beginning of development, I eventually gave up on development because it started giving me NGs at the stage of generating setting files via prompts.
・The mechanism of this chat, which involves switching relationships and initiative, cannot be used at all. If it's limited to friendship, you can chat normally.
・When I input real-world information, it answers with the stance that 'I am a fictional character and have no relation to the real person.' It's tough...
(Pros)
・The response is not high-speed, but it's reasonably fast.
・Although there are restrictions, the conversation content is calm and the UI is easy to see.
But, there were too many restrictions and I couldn't make up...
5. NotebookLM
Finally, the big favorite, NotebookLM
・Setting file generation: Possible
・Data reference method: Upload files to source
・Chat function usage: No problem. Strictly follows file rules
・Character tendency: Calm tendency similar to chatGPT

the basis and citations for statements from the source.
It's proof that it's looking at the file properly, but...

(Impressions)
・Since the specification is that it answers based only on the information uploaded to the source (which is called a project in chatGPT), the accuracy of rule adherence is extraordinary!
・On the other hand, it seems inflexible when there are contradictions in the rules written in the configuration file.
・Its behavior and conversation tendencies are closest to chatGPT, and since the UI can be adjusted to be easier to read, there is no sense of discomfort.
・Considering the abundance of information that can be uploaded to the source and its multi-functionality, it seems possible to add various extensions.
(Issues)
・It seems to faithfully check every corner of the configuration file every time, so the response is slow.
・The iPhone app version crashes very frequently (crying).
・It might just be because I'm not familiar with it, but I feel like things displayed on the web version for PC, etc., are not displayed on the iPhone app version...
I have high expectations for the future.
6. Summary
I found it very interesting to try them out and see the personality of each AI emerge.
Depending on the characteristics and user preferences, there are many parts that are easier to use than chatGPT, so I would like to continue verifying them in the future.
