Flowers do not try to bloom, they simply bloom
Humans are a part of the natural world
"Flowers do not try to bloom, they simply bloom"
"Birds do not try to fly, they simply fly"
The "effortlessness" of the natural worldcycle...
The Eastern philosophy of "Wu Wei" (effortless action)
It is not about "doing nothing," but about "not forcing things"
Wu Wei is different from mere laziness or apathy.
It means letting go of the tension caused by the ego, such as "it must be this way" or "I want to be better than others."
Because you are not straining, you can exert the most natural and maximum power when it is needed.
● Live like water (The highest good is like water)
Laozi compared the ideal way of living to "water."
Water naturally flows from high places to low places, taking the shape of a round vessel when in one, and a square shape when in a square one.
If there is an obstacle like a rock, it does not try to break through it by force, but instead flows around it gracefully.
This is the attitude of living flexibly without fighting against circumstances.
● Let go of judgment
Whether something is useful or useless, good or evil, a success or a failure.
To be free from such "artificial filters" created by humans, and to acknowledge the "inherent value" of things and oneself as they are.
Flowers do not bloom to be evaluated by those around them, nor do they bloom to compete with other flowers.
They are simply fulfilling the work of life by following the laws of nature, which is to bathe in the sunlight and absorb water.
As a result, this leads to them blooming beautifully.
To live naturally and essentially.
This is something I instinctively cherish.
To live naturally and essentially means to discern what is truly important to you, let go of unnecessary tension, and exist honestly according to your own heart.
These are the words I have always said to my son since he was born.
My catchphrase is,
"Be yourself..."
"Believe in yourself."
My son is currently studying abroad in Africa for a long term.
Even when I send him off every morning,
Instead of saying 'Good luck!'...
"Enjoy yourself"
is what it is.
This is also a word of encouragement to myself.
Like a spring flower...
I want to spend my time naturally and lightly...
On such a sunny morning.
Thank you, as always.
Have a wonderful day 🍀
"Honeybees do not carry pollen for profit"
Honeybees are not calculating, 'If I carry this pollen, I will benefit later'; they are simply, single-mindedly, gathering nectar to live their own lives.
However, that pure action, free from cost-benefit analysis, results in connecting life from flower to flower, creating a vast and rich 'cycle' known as an ecosystem.
This could be said to be a state of being in a more natural and greater flow than calculating profits in your head.
By letting go of the filter of profit and loss and simply facing what is in front of you naturally, perhaps unexpected abundance, opportunities, and good connections will start to come your way on their own...
