From the Lesson Field: A's English Proficiency Improved Dramatically Through 29 Sessions/58 Hours of One-on-One Lessons
Lessons with A are progressing smoothly.
From mid-May to the present, we have conducted 29 one-on-one lessons online. Since each lesson is 2 hours long, that is a total of 58 hours of instruction.
In addition to the lessons, A does a significant amount of independent study, so I estimate that A's total English study time during this period is around 100 to 150 hours.

As a result of these 100 to 150 hours of lessons and independent study, A's English proficiency has improved dramatically.
While A's English conversation was extremely shaky at first, it has now become very fluent.
The accuracy of A's pronunciation and grammar is also reaching a level that is more than sufficient for global English.
A's goal is to always speak positively in English meetings and contribute to their outcomes.
It is safe to say that A is steadily making progress toward that goal.

The reasons for the rapid rise in A's English proficiency can be attributed to the following:
A's high potential
A's high level of motivation for acquiring English
A's mentality of not shying away from hard work
A's attitude of always approaching my lessons with sincerity
The good rapport between A and me (we both like sports, etc.)
Regarding the content of my lesson program, I believe the following points have contributed to the results:
I was able to select teaching materials that fully satisfy A's interests and motivation.
I am trying to minimize my own speaking time to maximize A's English output time.
After explaining the basics of English pronunciation, we perform sufficient repetitive practice (listening, following, reading aloud from the text, etc.) in every session.
After explaining the basics of English sentence structure, I repeatedly provide careful explanations regarding individual grammatical issues, such as when reading the text aloud.
I provide careful corrections and explanations for the English writing that is submitted daily (which is like a journal, though the content varies) before returning it.
Note that these points are the basics of coaching in my one-on-one lesson program, so I am not doing anything special for Student A.

The goal of my lesson program is to produce results 10 times faster than existing programs, but
in this lesson, by having such a talented student as A, I am achieving results at a level close to that.
As a coach, I am truly grateful for this.
