I tried testing PON-DASHI-BUILDER✚(plus)

So, as the "Pon-Dashi Builder" continues to evolve,
I acted as a tester for the smartphone version. 😆

Well, most of KITA's "messes" happen because
while working on evolutions and improvements, he gets so absorbed that he falls into a rabbit hole,
and ends up unable to manage it all by himself (lol).

So, wanting to know if his creation would work
in environments other than his own, he started recruiting testers. 😄

The smartphone I used was an "Xperia Ace III SO-53C".
I bought it about two years ago, having been released in June 2022,
from the Docomo online shop for about 32,000 yen.

Since I have no trouble using it for daily tasks,
I'm sure "Pon-Dashi ✚" will run on it too.

Test start

🟩SET UP

For now, I tapped the address written in the DM from KITA,
and Chrome launched.
The version is set to v3.1 by default, so I selected v2 from the pull-down menu,
and entered the access code that was sent to me to launch it.

I tapped DECK on the screen.

I tapped "Load Deck".
Since it insists "Press me" in white text on a black background,
even if you don't know what it means, just press it lol.

The smartphone's explorer or file management app opened, so I tapped the .csv file that had been attached to KITA's DM and which I had downloaded. Then...

Cards appeared in the space that was completely gray in the image from two steps ago!! (Please imagine this with Dragon Quest-style music)
The contents of the .csv file were the card data.

🟦SELECT AND BUILD

From here, I'll build a prompt while selecting cards.
I tapped "⚡WIZARD" at the top of the screen.

In the top left, it says "STEP1/7 / Core Subject / Main Character".
Below the search window, I selected "Character" from "All", "Character", and "Weapon".

The default is "All", but it's easier to use
if you separate them into "Character" and "Weapon".
Depending on the STEP, there are a huge number of cards and categories,
so it can be hard to find the card you're looking for,
or you might lose track of what you've selected,
forcing you to scroll up and down repeatedly.

For now, I'll select "Heroine".
Instead of tapping the entire card,
tap the "+BUILDER" button at the bottom left.
It's fine once it changes to the green text "✓Added".
It's outlined in white, so I'm sure you'll understand even without me explaining it lol

Tap "Weapon" and select "Katana".
Tap "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
Sometimes you can't see "Next" when there are many cards.
In that case, scroll to the very bottom of the screen and it will appear.

Next is "STEP 2/7 Protagonist Details".
Tap "Appearance".
There aren't any cards particularly suitable for a heroine,
so without selecting anything, tap "Hairstyle" next to "Appearance".

Select "Long Straight" and move on to "Expression".

There's nothing noteworthy here either, so move on to "Outfit" without selecting anything.

Select "Japanese Clothes/Kimono" and tap "Next" to go to STEP 3.
From here on, follow the same procedure to select cards until you reach STEP 7.

By the way, you can choose not to select anything, and it's also possible to select multiple cards in one category.
Below is STEP 4 / Environment / Background category. I selected "Cherry Blossom Blizzard" and "Shrine".

Once you reach the end of STEP 7, tap "REVIEW".

The prompt is generated,
and there is a list of the cards selected in each step.
It's a thoughtful design that allows you to check what you've selected 😊
The generative AI selection is set to MIDJOURNEY by default.
Things like STYLIZE or CHAOS are meaningless to me since I've never touched them lol

🪭In the case of GPT-IMAGE-2

Select "GPT IMAGE 2".
The SIZE is displayed in pixels, but it's a 2:3 aspect ratio equivalent.
I actually prefer 3:4, but it's a hassle so I'll leave it as is. Though, author, it would be helpful if you added 3:4 and 4:3.
Actually,I think this part could be shared with "NANO BANANA".
I don't feel the need for "QUALITY" either.

Well, for now, if the size you want isn't there, setting it to auto
leaves it blank in the prompt, which saves the trouble of deleting it manually lol
However, you have to write things like "aspect ratio 4:3" yourself 😂

Just tap "COPY PROMPT" below the prompt,
paste it into ChatGPT, and you're done.
For "GPT IMAGE 2" and "NANO BANANA",
the phrase "Generate an image according to the following" in Japanese
is automatically added to the beginning of the prompt.
Even if you are in image generation mode,
if you don't include this sentence, ChatGPT and others
are more likely to start critiquing the prompt instead of generating the image (lol).

Just tap "COPY PROMPT" below the prompt and paste it into ChatGPT to finish.

For 🍌NANO BANANA

I'll post the prompt here.

The only difference is the aspect ratio at the end.

Anyway, I managed to get it to generate properly✨🎉
It works on Android~✌️😄👍

🟨Problem Report to Developer KITAcore

I'm not sure if this is a problem or not,
but what I found difficult to use was that when I generated something in an AI app and returned to the builder,
it would go back to the login screen.
It's not 100% of the time, but it happens frequently.
This happens not just with AI apps, but also when I switch to another browser tab and come back,
the same thing happens.
In short, it often returns to the login screen once you leave the page.

My clipboard can hold multiple copied texts,
so entering the access code was easy, but...
After logging in, reloading the .csv file in DECK
is easy in a way, but it's also a bit of a hassle, isn't it?

Also, to repeat myself, it would be helpful if the aspect ratio dropdown menu for GPT-image-2 could be made the same as NANOBANANA's.

🟪Postscript

Even though I say postscript, there is actually more to come,
but it's gotten long, so I'll leave it here for today (lol).
I usually only use generative AI on my PC, so I had a lot of trouble with it😂

The rest will be about the original image for the thumbnail and the behind-the-scenes story of the two Oiran images I inserted in the middle of this article.

I also made these three images using "Pon-Dashi✚".
I intended to make them quickly
in coordination with the conventional "Pon-Dashi Builder",
but an unexpected pitfall was waiting for me.
