Year-End and New Year 12/30: Tips to Avoid Overeating
Ideal theory: Reasons why your body shape doesn't change with diet and strength training, and countermeasures: Table of Contents
Practical application: Training record one year after onset
*This does not mean I am recommending the exercises described; this is merely my own experience. Please exercise according to your own medical condition and physical state, and under the guidance of a doctor.
11 months after onset I resumed full-scale exercise.
Yesterday was my final training session of the year.
Since I returned to exercise after the Obon holiday, this will be my first long break in line with the gym's closure.
For these five days, I plan to do almost nothing but sleep, aside from some light bodyweight training and stretching.
(Though I say that, I haven't done anything today.)
I am ensuring my protein intake is at least 2g per kg of my current body weight, so I want to let my muscles recover.
My biggest worry is that I'll get bored and eat if I don't train, but I'm using a secret strategy.
However, unfortunately, it's probably too late for you all to use it.

That's not actually the case; the answer is simple.
I have a medical checkup scheduled for early in the new year.
Therefore, I cannot overeat or overdrink.
Ingredients and Japanese sweets that couldn't be consumed by yesterday have all been sent to the freezer.
However, I do plan to have a big cheat meal after the medical checkup is over.
(It's a shame it will be non-alcoholic beer since I'll have just drunk barium.)
Also, it's easier to endure if I think about what I'm going to eat for that cheat meal.
The tricky part is getting a large amount, having leftovers, and carrying them over to the next day.
Well, I'll go to sleep while fantasizing about my cheat menu.
(Though I say that, I'm very busy with games and I also have to write the continuation of my web novel.)
