Regarding the new Huntress (Official announcement, verbatim) 1124/2025

Finally, this is the most important announcement for this time. "GirlsConnect" continues to operate, and the total number of illustrations in the in-game gallery is approaching 800. This means that many historical and mythological figures that you are all familiar with have already appeared in the game world.

Returning to our roots, one of the features that first attracted Lords to "GirlsConnect" was that historical celebrities from the Three Kingdoms and the Japanese Warring States period would appear in the form of beautiful girls to accompany the Lords. We wish to return to this core and have these "familiar names" return to the Lords' main lineups. However, there are difficulties in achieving this. Huntresses implemented in the early stages have been affected by version changes, and there is a significant difference in art style and ability compared to Huntresses that have appeared in recent years. If we were to easily remake the appearance or abilities of these Huntresses, it would cause confusion for Lords who have already obtained them.

Therefore, after many discussions, we have decided. This New Year, "GirlsConnect" will open the door to a "parallel world." "Unfamiliar acquaintances" (Extra Xenos) will come to the Lords. Why did they come from a parallel world, what is their purpose in coming to this world, and what kind of stories will unfold in the future... the answers will be revealed little by little in the new story. In designing the new Huntresses, we have also clarified five principles.

【5 Principles of New Huntresses】

• New Huntresses are not skins for existing Huntresses.

• They have a bond with existing Huntresses of the same name, but they are not the same person (as they are existences from a parallel world). Therefore, it is possible to deploy them at the same time.

• Since there are many parallel worlds, new Huntresses are not necessarily from the same world (even if their names are familiar, they may not know each other).

• Lords who already own a "Huntress with a bond of the same name" will receive a corresponding discount when obtaining the corresponding new Huntress.

• The number of fragments required to obtain a new Huntress remains unchanged at 240, and you can continue to use Mizuhiki items.

We intentionally designed them to be able to "deploy simultaneously" precisely so that the value of the Huntresses that the Lords have put their heart and soul into raising will never go to waste. Furthermore, an opportunity to "make them fight together" is created, and the new Huntresses will bring unprecedented and innovative strategic combinations to all Lords.

Basic overview of the new Huntress "EX Huntress" (Official announcement verbatim) 1218/2025

• Unlike the concepts of rarity, skins, or avatars of existing Huntresses, EX Huntresses can be obtained and raised as an independent Huntress.

• Since EX Huntresses are different people from parallel worlds, it is possible to organize and deploy them in the same lineup as existing Huntresses of the same name at the same time.

• The number of bonds required to obtain an EX Huntress, the upper limit of awakening levels, and the required awakening materials are the same as before.

• If you already own the existing officer of the same name, the EX officer gacha will apply a corresponding discount (rebate) accordingly.

• EX officers can acquire a new "Domain".

Basic Overview of "Domain" and "Domain Resonance"

"Domain" is a new system designed to provide further strategic depth. By selecting a "Domain" in your team formation in advance, the effect of "Domain Resonance"" will be activated during battle if specific conditions are met. Various "Domains" are planned to be implemented in the future, but here we will introduce some of their features.

1. Domains triggered by occupation
   EX officers will always acquire a domain related to their own occupation. When this type of "Domain Resonance" is activated, all officers of the corresponding occupation (regardless of rarity) will be strengthened.

2. Domains triggered by special conditions
   In addition to occupation-related domains, some EX officers may acquire special domains. When this type of "Domain Resonance" is activated, by meeting special conditions, officers who meet those conditions (regardless of occupation or rarity) will be strengthened.

3. Scope of "Domain Resonance"
   Only one type of "Domain Resonance" can be activated per lineup. Note that the effect of "Domain Resonance" will not be applied in some content.

About EX Officer Gacha

With the introduction of EX officers, we will be adding and adjusting new rebate elements.

1. New Mission "Same Destination via Different Paths"
During the EX officer gacha period, limited missions will appear based on the acquisition status of existing officers of the same name.

• If you have not yet acquired the EX officer: You can receive "Fragments of the target EX officer" (up to 30) as a reward to support your recruitment.

• If you have already acquired the EX officer: The reward will change to an equal number of "Bond Strings" (up to 30) and will be returned as resources.
  ※ Rewards for this mission can only be received once per EX officer (they will not be reset during re-sales, etc.).

2. Adjustment of Step-up Reward Campaigns
With the implementation of the rebate system through the new missions above, we have adjusted the total amount of step-up reward campaigns to shift the focus toward rebates based on training and collection status.

Speculation

Now, let's organize the information and speculate on what it means.

• The core concept was that historical celebrities from the Three Kingdoms period and Japan's Warring States period would become beautiful girls and stay by the Lord's side. We are returning to this core, and these "familiar names" will return to the Lord's main lineup once again.

Famous figures from the Three Kingdoms and the Warring States period have already appeared, but they have become obsolete due to inflation.
Therefore, EX (unfamiliar acquaintances) are being used to reintroduce them as different people.
This opens up the possibility that Lu Bu, who should be the strongest in the Three Kingdoms, could reappear as the strongest in the current environment.
This will also lead to the strengthening of the Wei, Shu, and Wu factions.
However, thinking about it the other way around, it will also lead to the weakening of the Hua and Yang factions.
Considering what will happen to the Wa faction.

Old marriage completion will be prioritized, I speculate.
Therefore, I suspect that there won't be that many EX appearances of Warring States warlords.
Among them, Sanada Yukimura, who recently became an MR and has already completed the old marriage, seems likely to be an EX candidate as a super-famous warlord.

• Since there are many parallel worlds, new officers do not necessarily come from the same world.

If you take it at face value, it seems like multiple versions of Lu Bu might appear, but this is likely foreshadowing for after the famous ones have all gone around once.
A party of all Lu Bus would be interesting, but it seems like it would break the worldview and be difficult to do.

3. If the EX deputy has already been acquired: The reward changes to an equal number of "Bond Mizuhiki" (up to 30) and is returned as a resource. *The rewards for this mission can only be received once per EX deputy (they will not reset during re-runs, etc.).
   

4. Adjustment of Tiered Reward Campaigns. With the implementation of the rebate system via the new missions mentioned above, we have adjusted the total amount of tiered reward campaigns to shift the focus toward rebates based on development and collection status.

Therefore, in 4), 10-pull gacha or SSRs obtainable via Star-Summoning gacha might have small rewards, and it seems you would get the maximum reward only if you have them up to MR and at +7 Awakening.
However, if it also looks at stats (development), the motivation to recruit via synergy will drop significantly, so I hope they judge development based only on Awakening.

Oh, that means the 10-pull gacha lineup might also change.

Looking at 1), I thought it was the realization of speculating on bonuses for factions biased toward 1 class (0827/24), but 3) does not list Boss Battles, Campaigns, Arenas, or Imperial Conspiracies.
I don't know if this is because they are already supported rather than "scheduled to be supported in the future."
Since 2) says it "will not be applied" to "some" content, I want to believe that application is the standard.
Since these are the main content and the top motivation for recruitment, I hope they are already supported.

Because of this domain, EX might seem strong, but conversely, since they are using skill points for the domain, wouldn't they be weak if it doesn't activate?
2) is mandatory, and if they are also consuming skill points in 3) in addition to this, their normal skills might be even more limited.
This might feel the same as having a synergy skill, where the normal skills are reduced by that amount.
Domains are basically not activated individually; for example, it will likely be important to have other members in the composition, such as activating if there are 3 Shu faction members, like a Warrior.
If that happens, I'm worried there won't be a strategy to prevent a repeat of "I don't need an Archer because I'm not running an Archer party," where even if the individual or domain is strong, you don't recruit them because you can't activate it.

Also, the foreshadowing that "even if the names are familiar, they themselves may not know each other" seems like it will cause trouble, as the human relationships between official history, the GirlsConnect so far, and the EX parallel worlds will get messy, and if you recruit for Lu Bu's friendship power domain, it might turn out that they were friends in official history but enemies in EX, so it doesn't work.
Therefore, while things like the Guiguzi and Sun Bin domain for master and disciple are exciting for GirlsConnect, relationships whose existence has not been confirmed in official history feel like a source of trouble.
