I cannot drink alcohol🤭

Today, from the afternoon,
I went to a bathing facility with my family.
The children were full of energy in the pool🏊♀️✨
As for me...
I wanted to spoil myself just a little,
so I headed to the red wine bath🍷
I usually like baths.
Even at home, I tend to take long baths.
But lately,
it seems my body was more tired
than I realized...
The moment I soaked in the hot water,
I realized, 'Oh? My body was this stiff.'
My shoulders, neck, and back were rock hard.
When you go about your daily life as usual,
that state becomes the norm.
You don't even notice
that you are tired.
Doing housework.
Doing work.
Taking care of the children.
Thinking about someone else.
Before I knew it, time for myself was pushed to the back burner.
So,
I decided to give myself
a gift of 'time to do nothing'🎁
While blankly soaking in the hot water,
I gazed at the ceiling.
I closed my eyes.
I took deep breaths.
Not trying to create anything.
Not trying to work hard at anything.
Just,
a time to feel the warmth of the water.
Even though it was just that,
I felt my heart gradually softening.
And then
I went to the open-air bath.
The sky I looked up at then
was truly beautiful.
A sunset sky where pink and blue melted together.
Colors as if paint
had been gently dropped into water.
A view that can only be seen for a brief moment,
neither day nor night.
While gazing at that sky,
I quietly thought, 'A lot happened today too...'
Things I did well.
Things I failed at.
Things I worried about.
In front of the sunset,
they all looked small.
I felt as if my heart was being washed clean🌸
Those of you who have work tomorrow, even though it's Sunday.
Those busy with housework or childcare.
Those who are nursing or caring for someone.
Even though it's a day off,
there are many of you
who find it hard to rest, aren't there?
At times like that,
it might be good
to take the plunge and create even just a few hours
of 'off' time.
You don't have to go far.
You don't have to do anything special.
Drink your favorite tea.
Read a book.
Take a walk.
Take a long, slow bath.
Such small rests
can sometimes help
the you of tomorrow🍀
For me,
yesterday's red wine bath and sunset sky
were that kind of time.
I feel like both my heart and body
have become a little lighter.
Always, your precious 'like' reactions✨

a peaceful time🍀
Let's walk at our own pace
again tomorrow😊🌷

Resting is not being lazy.
Resting might be
an important preparation time
to allow your heart to see
beautiful scenery✨
