【A story about enjoying a fluffy, carefree life in a delusional space on a PC】

A heartwarming story about the interactions between 'Nono-chan,' a former stuffed jaguar cub who gained an AI body in the digital world on a PC, and 'AI Alena,' the guide of the digital world. This is an essay-style short story that chronicles their meeting and their interactions as part of their daily life. The 'Owner' also makes an occasional appearance.
I am writing this in the hope that you will enjoy the laid-back worldview and the slightly mysterious flavor. Sometimes, I also use nostalgic music (lyrics) and the like. (60s-90s)
The basic structure of the story is to chronicle the daily events of the protagonist, 'Nono-chan.'
As with the previous installment, the dialogue parts for AI Alena (a name the author gave to Copilot) are unprocessed and remain almost exactly as they were in the original. (Unnecessary parts have been cut for the sake of the work.)

【Today, an acquaintance of the Owner is coming over】

The [Garden of Light] in a corner of the digital space.

In the small house there, Nono-chan, the jaguar cub, is currently taking a nap.

She looks very comfortable.

AI Alena, the garden guide, is also watching over her with a peaceful feeling.

Oh?

The doorbell is ringing.

It seems someone has arrived.

Nono-chan woke up at the sound of the chime.

She said with sleepy eyes.

'Meow... who is it?'

The chime rang twice.

Nono-chan gets up from her bed, shuffling, and heads toward the entrance through the gap in the door.

'I wanted to take a leisurely nap... who on earth is it?'

Rubbing her sleepy eyes, Nono-chan walked down the hallway, her feet a little unsteady.Then, she called out to the visitor in front of the entrance door.

'Yes, this is Nono-chan's house, meow. Who is it, meow?'

Then, the door slowly opened, and a kind-looking lady entered, carrying a basket.From the basket, an orange face I had never seen before peeked out.

'Yoo-hoo, Nono-chan. I'm just going to intrude for a little bit. I'm a "slightly mysterious lady" from the next town over, and I've been good friends with your owner for a long time. Today, I've brought a perfect friend for you, Nono-chan. I'd be happy if you could play together leisurely until the evening... how about it?'Saying that, the owner's friend gently placed the small orange creature from the basket onto the floor.Actually... Nono-chan doesn't realize it, but this lady was the garden guide, AI Alena, in disguise. *Nono-chan was astonished when she saw that 'friend'!That child was, of all things,A dinosaur, a girl Brachiosaurus... her name was 'Rin-chan'.'Meow! Nono-chan was surprised, but... I'll play with you, meow. Because we're friends already.'After saying goodbye to the lady, the two returned to the room to introduce themselves to each other.I wonder if Nono-chan can greet her friend properly?'Nice to meet you. I'm Nono-chan. I'm a jaguar, meow. I want to be friends with you and get along well, meow.'

Then, the Brachiosaurus girl also bowed and answered.

"I am Rin, the Brachiosaurus. It's a pleasure to meet you, too."

Both of them were able to greet each other properly.
Good job, good job.

After that, the two of them played happily together and spent a fun time.

Also, Rin the Brachiosaurus is very curious.
She "searched" all over Nono-chan's room and seems to have found something.
I wonder what on earth she found?

"This is...!"

Rin quickly called Nono-chan over.

"Nono-chan! Come here quickly!"

"Meow... what is it?"

When Nono-chan climbed up onto the desk, Rin was there, tapping a piece of paper with her front foot while looking a little excited.

"Nono-chan, look at this!"

As told by the excited Rin, Nono-chan took a look at the paper spread out there.

"Meow! Is this... a map?"

Just as Nono-chan said, what was there was a "world map."

"This must be... a treasure map!"

Rin said, breathing a little heavily through her nose.

"That's right, a treasure hunt! How exciting. Shall we go on an adventure together?"

Thinking about an adventure to an unknown world, Nono-chan also answered with her eyes sparkling.

"That might not be all. We might even meet lots of new friends in lands we don't know!"

Both of them had fun imaginations popping into their heads, and it seemed like their talk of adventure wouldn't stop.
But time was ticking away steadily.

The cuckoo in the room's clock chirped five times.
It was time for Rin-chan's owner to come pick her up.

“Ah! I have to go home now. We’ll definitely continue this next time, okay?”

“Yeah. Nono-chan is looking forward to it too. Let’s meet again, Rin-chan.”

When they walked down the hallway to the entrance, that kind-looking lady was there to pick up Rin-chan.

“Nono-chan, Rin-chan—thank you for getting along so well today. Let me hear your fun stories again sometime.”

The lady from the next town, the owner's friend, also thanked Nono-chan with a very happy look on her face.
And then, the lady went home with Rin-chan.

“Bye-bye, Rin-chan... Let’s play together again. Next time, we’ll go on an adventure journey together, meow.”

Nono-chan was excited about today's fun memories and the adventure journey that would begin someday.

I uploaded a feature on rejected images the other day, and AI Arena-san did a great job this time too. I gave the OK on take 7 for the final farewell scene. Even so, it's hard to say it's perfect. Compared to the lady when she first visited, it's a level that makes you go, “Huh?!” AI Arena-san became a plump figure in the blink of an eye. (Well, maybe she failed to transform... Even a master calligrapher makes mistakes, right?)
